Part 72: Time to go

AC's Pov

It's time to go...

I look at my wrist watch..a couple of minutes and I really have to go..

I look at my travelling bag place above my bed.

Everything is set.

I let go of a long breath..

I stare at my phone once again.

Is he going to call me?

Is he bidding good-bye to me?

Is he going to see me?

I stood up and went close to my bag.

No turning back!

I grab my bags and put it on the floor..and then our picture hit in the corner of my eyes.

I hold the frame and wipe it's surface.

"Di keba telegah pepakita ngeyon?"

I give sigh.

This is what I want.

Yeah..this is all we need, whatever the outcome after this, no one to be blame..ginustoh koh toh.

I then heard a knock on my door and Mom's head peek in.

"You're all done anak?"

I nodded.

Mom walked inside and get close to me. She caresses my hair.

"Alam kong nahihirapan ka ngayon, peru you will see its worth anak"

I let go of a weak smile and nodded again.

"Halika na, naghihintay na Daddy mo at si Ace sa baba"

"Okey poh"

I carried all my luggage and fallow after Mom downstairs.

I saw Ace and Dad setting in our sofa with their luggage too.

When they saw us coming down, they stood up and hold their bags.

"Halina kayo, baka ma traffic pa tayo sa daan"

We walked after Dad heading towards the garage and put our luggage at the car's compartment.

Before I get inside the car, I look around once again..beka nindito leng siya, looking at me from a far.

But I didn't see any sign of Lucky. I close my eyes and get inside the car hurriedly.

The car drove down the road..

When we're at the highway, Daddy turn the stereo but it flashes a newsbreak..so we did listen.

We we're stunned that it's Brace Presscon!

"Brace what happened to you this fast several weeks, you were missing in action..and we heard your hospitalized, what really happened?" I guess it's a reporter asking.

"Can I keep it to myself nalang po, it's something personal" Brace answered.

"With regards to your hospitalization, we heard you we're confined because you were shot, how true is it?" reporter 2 asked.

"As I said earlier, I'll keep it to myself..you can asked anything regarding my career"

"Are you still dating AC of Lucky Aces? diba boyfriend niya si Lucky na kapartner niya?" reporter 3

"I think it's not my story to tell, AC and I are good friends, and we will remain good friends"

"Why the sudden decision to rest meantime from showbiz?"
