Part 56: Anniversary Concert

AC's POV

Friday..Anniversary Concert..

I'm not feeling excited..I'm nervous..I look at the crowd in the gym..it's overflowing.. so deming nenunuod.. My palm is sweating already.. I'm used in performing in front of the crowd..but I think getting nervous won't be depart in every performance.

I look at my watch..its 15 minutes before the concert starts..

I looked at the reserved seats for Lucky, Dhao and Kezh..I only saw Keziah..when she saw me looking at her direction she wave her hands..I waved back too..

I haven't seen Lucky yet..He texted me earlier he's on his way.. I went first here in the venue because we have to finalize everything.

"Okay everyone get ready..the concert will start in few" the band leader said.

We nodded. We start chanting a prayer to have a successful concert.

I look at my bracelet ang kiss it. Lucky charm.

Lucky's POV

I'm in a hurry..the cab I take was stranded in the traffic so I decided to walk instead of waiting when the traffic will be over.

Tsk! The next president should do something with the traffic!

I looked at my watch..oh great! It's 7 minutes and the concert will start. I walked faster than the usual.

I could see the entrance gate heading to the gym. I'm relief...I looked at my watch again..just in time.. I heared the roaring noises of the audience reaches until here..it must be really crowded inside. I'm planning to go back stage to have our routine whenever we perform. I know AC is nervous by now..Yeah..she's still feeling it, though we performed countleslly. I just smile of the though..tonight I will forget everything first...the situation I'm in..we're in..

And when I'm about to walked inside someone grab my arms.

"Tsk! I hissed

"I'm going with you inside" She automatically put her arms around my arm. I tried to get her arms away from my arms but she warned me.

"Stop struggling..you know what I can do"

I took a deep breath.

"I'm not going inside..I don't wanna watch anymore" Yeah..I rather miss the concert than to bear her annoying presence!

"You'll watch with me bic-boi" She then look at me with warning eyes.

"AC might see us"

"That's exactly my purpose! if she will see us together she might think something else, ayaw mo ba nun, you will not find it hard to break up with her..siya na mismo ang hiniwalay sayo!"

"You're crazy!"

"Matagal na!.. Sayo!"

I close my eyes..I'm praying that AC will not see us..but I know it will be impossible, she reserved a seat for me in the front. Great!

"Common the concert is about to start..don't worry I'll give her this night..I won't make a move that might ruin her night"

I looked at her, trying to determined whether she's saying the truth or not, but i guess whether she's serious or not, I don't have a choice. I give a sigh again. We pushes ourselves to the front seats and sat beside Keziah who give Margareth a death glare.

"What she's doing here?' Keziah hissed

"Ah..she insisted..nekesalubong ko siya sa harap"

"I don't like her presence"

"Believe me..I don't like either.. she's getting into my nerve"

"AC will surely see her beside you"

I'm about to respond when we heard the Hosts. A celebrities from a well known network, they formally open the event. It is started by a welcome message of the President in F.U then followed by the F.U Hymn.

"And now Freshgrove Audience..let's all welcome the Fresh Band!"

The audience make a roaring sound. Some are standing in thier set and scream the band's name. "Whoooooaaah!!! Fresshhhh"

And they walk in..she walk in.. She's extra beautiful tonight..I guess she's putting some make-up, but with or without make up, she's still the most beautiful girl in my eyes who made my heart beats abnormally.

I am mesmerized when she walked in and seated in front of the piano then started her piece. She's my girl. She looked at the audience, and darted her eyes in mine, trying to tell me she dedicated the song she'll playing to me. It made my heart skip. I smiled at her..

But my smile suddenly dissappear when Margareth put her head on my shoulder and wave at AC. I notice AC's eyes go dimming. I shove my shoulder away, good thing Margareth didn't argue but she smiled AC sweetly.

I looked AC back, she's closing her eyes..and started to play the piano. I couldn't imagine how big my heart is at negkesya siya dun. I cound't imagine the love I have for her..even it means..hurting her in the process..

AC's POV

When the Host called our band, we headed automatically to the front stage. I walk towards the piano, my eyes roamed around and try to find the man who always give me goosebumps.

And yeah!..there he is..his seating in the reserved seat..I look at him lovingly, trying to connect his heart with the song I'll be playing..

But I've got shocked when I notice the girl sat beside him..Margareth! I was thinking why they are seat-mate..Margareth even put his head on Lucky's shoulder..she wave at me and smiled sweetly..what the heck! I feel a sudden pain..

I close my eyes and started to play the piano..

After the song I stood up immediately. I could hear the applauses of the audience. They are screaming...

"Yeah guys, relax, they still have another set later" the Host said.

I went automatically back stage, after me are the members.

"Galing mo talaga AC, naghiyawan ang crowd!" our band leader appreciated me. I just smile.

I should not be thinking wrong. Yeah..I shouldn't..Lucky loves me..penhehewakan ko yun. I sowed away the negative thoughts, our performance might be affective.

After a moment, again the Host called out our band for another performance. We do duet this time.

I darted my eyes again on where Lucky is seating..Margareth still sat beside her. I close my eyes and let go of a long breath..then I started singing...
