Part 38: Brace

Lucky's POV

I woke up the next day a little fine. I rolled aside and greeted by my sunshine, AC's picture is smiling at me.

I remember our intimate moments we shared yesterday. I touch my lips. It made me smile...sooooo wide.

I get the frame. "Good morning my sunshine" and kiss the picture. That's the scene caught by my dad. He fake a cough.

"Ehem"

"Hey dad" I was caught off guard.

He chuckle. "How was it?" he asked

"What?" I feel nervous, it seems my dad know something, does he know we kiss?!

He let go of a loud laugh.

"You're like a grade schooler boy who was caught staring his crush"

I shake my head.

"So your good?"

"Well, yeah" I said while scratching my head.

"It's obviously written in your face son" he then mess my hair.

"So what you'll gonna do next?"

"I'll just enjoy our moment dad"

"How about the guy who courted AC?"

Yeah, how about Brace, though AC and I already shared kiss but I wasn't able to tell her yet about my feelings. Our relationship has no labeled. More than Bestfreind but less than lovers. Great!

I just shurrged my shoulder with a blank face.

"You better in a hurry son, I don't want to see you again having a sorrowful face"

So he knows, my dad knows what I've been through few days ago.

"Yes dad, I will"

"Good, anyway I'll be going to a friends house today, I only check you out."

"Okay dad"

He then walked towards my door, just when his about to get out..he said.

"I don't mind having little Lucky's running around the house son" he chuckle.

"Dad!"

"Just saying" then burst out of laughter.

What a great dad.

I get my phone and texted AC.

"Good morning my sunshine 💥💗"

AC's POV

I was awaken by the message tone of my cellphone. I open it and it's from Lucky.

Lucky's message: Good morning my sunshine 💥💗

I smiled of his message. When just Lucky gets Cheesy? I texted back.

My message: Hey, good morning, still have fever?

After a second he replied

Lucky's message: Feeling better, sinat nelang"

My message: Good, that means I am an effective nurse 😊.

Lucky's message: Haha..you bet.

We were just exchanging messages for about half an hour. Then my mom  called me out behind my door.

"Anak, AC, gising kana ba?

"Yes mom, what is it?

My door open and Mom walks in.
