Part 39: Lunch Date

AC's POV

I wake up extra early today. I don't get lot of sleep, I keep on thinking about Brace and Lucky. I'm weighing things out. I wish I could keep them both. Brace is a nice friend, but that's all I can offer. Lucky..he's everything I wanted..a friend.. and I wish a boyfriend too.

After like an hour, I'm on my way to school. Haaayy..manic Monday..

I am walking in the corridor when Margareth and her friends block my way.

I look at them immediately.

"What's your problem?" I asked Margareth

" Wala naman, tinitingnan ko lang ko maganda ka ba talaga!" she said like nangungutya

I rolled my eyes "I don't have so much time to have a convo with you" I don't care if I sounds rude or what. I just want to go to my classroom and scan my books.

"Mataray ka din pala!" she told me still scanning my being.

I didn't say anything. What's with them??!!

"Anyway, enjoy the rest of your days, with your so called Bestfreind" she then let go of an evil smile.

I was worried a bit, when she's about to leave, I hold her arms and look straight to her eyes.

"You know what, you're beautiful and all, I just couldn't understand why your making your self pity"!

She shove her arms away and look at me with disgusting face. I don't care, she started all of this!

She didn't say a thing, but give me a warning look. She then leave with her friends.

I just shook my head. What a way to start my day. I then continue walking towards my classroom.

We are still few when I get inside. Some of my classmate are busy fixing their make up while the boys are talking about computer games.

I look at the empty chair of Lucky, in an instance my heart skip fast. Great! what an effect, just merely mentioning Lucky's name now made me excited! I get my book and scan on pages waiting for the class time. But still, my mind is on Lucky, this the first day we'll be seeing each other after our kiss. Goodness! How will I act??!!

Not so while, Keziah and Dhao arrived fallowed by Adriel and Alyza.

"Hey, good morning guys" I greeted them.

They greeted me back in chorus. I notice Dhao is not in mood.

"Hey Dhao, you're okay?"

He just nodded.

"Hayaan mo nang lalaking yan AC" Keziah told me.

I look at her like trying to ask her what happened to Dhao, but she didn't say anything. Maybe I'll just ask her later. I chatted with Alyza about girl staffs.

After few minutes, our first subject teacher came and about to start our lesson. But Lucky isn't around yet. What could have been happened?? I was worried, I am thinking if hes not yet well. I'm about to get my cp to text Lucky when the teacher told us to get our activity notebook and answered the activities she wrote on the board. Great! first thing in the morning!!

The morning class went well, but Lucky didn't show up. After the last subject, I hurriedly get my cp and dialled Lucky's number. It just keep on ringing but no answer. After trying to call him like 10 times already, I decided to put my cp back in pocket.

"What's with him?" I'm talking to myself.

"Your calling Lucky?" I looked at Kezh instantly when she asked me.
