Part 68: He catch the bullet

AC's POV

Margareth directed me the gun. She want me dead. What have I done wrong..this all we got by loving each other??

I look at Lucky at my side..he's looking at me too..He's trying to be strong, but I know he's scared too..who wouldn't be if there's a crazy woman in front of us and wanna get us killed.

"AC" He whispered

"Lucky koh" I mouthed.

I could still remember the day when we both struggle for our feelings. The day when we both figured it out..and the day when we are officially couple. It will always be the best things in my life..

Since we're kids, we have each other..he is my dance partner..he's with me all along..who wouldn't have thought we will fall for each other..that I thought it will be the last thing happened.

Regret never cross in my mind..even if we will live backward, I still want to fall in love with him. Loving him give me so much things to hope for..I wanna end up with him..no one else..

I saw Margareth pull the trigger. I just close my eyes and silently prayed.. If this is my day..then this is.. I open my eyes again ang mouthed Lucky.."Mehel kita" tears rolled down his cheeks..same as mine..

I close my eyes again and waited for the bullet.

I heard a gun shot.

I'm closing my eyes intently, feeling the pain of the bullet..

But..

"AC you're okay?"

I push to open my eyes and saw Brace hugging me.

"Brace??!" I am surprised

"Thanks God your sa..fe.."

My eyes widen after realizing what happen. I look at my hands that are holding Brace..

Blood!

No! this can't be!!

He catch the bullet for me.

He slowly closing his eyes.

"No Brace! wake up! don't do this!!"

I'm crying. I am hugging Brace body.

"Weg keng pumikit please"

He push me a little and try to look my eyes.

"I'm..sor..ry.."

"Hush! please don't say that..nepetiwad nekita..please don't die."

And he slowly closing his eyes again.

"Wake-up Brace" I am crying hard.

The next things I heard is Margareth being hysterical.

"No! pakawalan niyo ako!" She is held by two police men.

"I said let me go!"

The police men put her handcuffed. Nagwewela parin siya. She was brought by the police men outside the building.

I couldn't contain evrything happened right now. Then our parents come rushing to us with other police men and Medics.

They get Brace body on me and put in a stretcher.

"Please don't let him die" I told medical team.

"Lucky!" I heard Tita Angel crying.

I look at Lucky..he's looking at me too..I can't read his expression.

Then Mom coming to me.

"AC anak..God..kala ko may masamang mangyayari sayo" Mom is crying too

"Mom..si Brace..he save me"
