Part 18: Sunset

AC's POV

I walk towards them and I think they're having a little bonding, I saw them both shaking hands, but I could see through thier faces that there like measuring each other's being. Nah! maybe I'm just over imagining.

"Hey guys! wouldn't you like to take for a walk?" I ask them while they're looking at me tenderly..what's with them keya?

"I'm good here! I'll just watch over you" Lucky's voice is full of affection. What a sudden change huh?! just like a moment ago his into Poker Face and he's like ready for a fight, but now?!!haaayzz..moody Bestfreind..

"Yeah! same here!" Brace added in a equal tune as Lucky

"Nah! if you guys dont like then I'll stay here with you, or better let's eat nelang" as I remember that I'm starving a while ago.

Brace get the food in the car and we walk to the vacant benches nearby. It's good thing the're only few people who are roaming at this hour, so Brace won't get afraid he maybe kuyugin by the his fans.

After putting the foods, he first give me the food pack in the styrofoam.

"Thank you" I smiled at him and he smiled at me too. Brace is gwafoh na mabeit pah! nese kenya ne eng lehat!

We started eating, while Lucky is just quiet in one corner. I notice brace put so much catsup in his fries.

"You like fries with lots of catsup pela" I told him

"Yeah!" he simply answered and start subo the fries.

"Lucky doesn't like fries with catsup" I said not in mind and continue eating.

I notice Brace was like netigilan for a while and look at me with a sad face??! but why?! what have I've done?!

While Lucky is like suppressing a smile??!! what's with them beh?!

"Hey Brace! you try this", I give him a chicken driftted with gravy hoping it will change his mood. He gladly accept it neman and continue eating.

After a while, Brace phone is ringing so he excuses himself to answer the call.

Brace POV

"Lucky doesn't like fries with catsup" narinig kong sinabi ni AC, natigilan ako sandali, talagang kilala nila ang isat-isat. Maybe I should work double time so AC will know me well.

Nang biglang may tumawag, unregistered number.

Lucky's POV

I smile of what AC said, yeah! I don't like fries with catsup, I remember one time we argued for it because she wants me to taste the fries she drifted with catsup but we ended in a Catsup War. I painted her face with catsup.

I notice that the sun is already kissing in the surface of the sea. Sunset 🌇!

"AC look!" and pointed to the sunset

She automatically followed the direction of my hands.

"Wow! it's beautiful" she exclaimed while cound't contain her admiration to the beautiful sunset. She's really in awe!

"Yeah!, beautiful, so beautiful " I said while looking at her face.

For a moment I'm just appreciating the beauty that is setting right beside me "AC"!

When she suddenly look at me. I wasn't prepared for her sudden turn so she caught me looking at her.

"Hey Lucky! why are you looking at me that way?" she asked consciously because Im still looking at her full of admiration.
