Part 21: Almost the second

Lucky's POV

As soon as I reach their home, I instantly went inside their gate and knocked at their main door. It's Tita Cherry who open up the door.

"Hi Tita, is AC's around?" I asked her Mom though I know AC is home.

"Yeah, she's upstair, she told me your coming, that's why I cooked lots for lunch, you go to her room, she's already start cleaning" Tita Cherry told me while pointing the stair.

"Okay poh Tita, thank you poh" then I hurriedly climb up their stair and went into AC's room.

AC's POV

I was wiping my glass window when somebody step inside my room. It's Lucky!

"Hey, I thought you won't help me at all" I told him like nagtetempoh.

"Sorry, Dad and I talk a little longer keninah"

"I see, okay you get this rug and start cleaning neh"

"Yes boss!" he responded with matching hand salute.

"Hahaha, you silly!" I said

Lucky's POV

I start wiping the stuffed toys near in her bed. I couldn't help to smile while looking her stuffed, it's almost everything I had given her for the past years. So she keep it all pelah.

I also notice a display of picture frames above her study table, her solo picture, her Family picture and the picture that was taken when we we're seven. I get the frames that has our picture and look at it closely, we we're dancing. I wipe the dust away. Ever since she's my partner.

My childhood days is always exciting because she's with me. We got to travel together with our friends in different countries to compete, went to an Award Ceremony and we're together, We went to our first guesting in the Ellen show and the second guesting, we went to our first concert with Ariana Grande and we're in it dancing together.  Our first movie appearance, first guesting interview, first music video, and first grand champion in a dance contest here in the Philippines. My memories is so much fun because she's with me. Together we got to do great things.

I have lots of reason to keep her with me.

AC's POV

As I turned my head to Lucky I notice he is holding a picture frame and I guess it's the one having our picture. He look at it like it's a teassure. Well, it's actually is.

"We're cute right?" I told him from behind, he then turned to face me.

"Ako leng" he said smiling while putting the picture back to its place.

"Sema moh!" I said making face.

Then he walks toward me and sat beside me in the bed.

"How time travel so past, we we're too young then, and now we are full grewn up" he said like reminiscing our childhood days.

"Yeah, dancefloor is our playground" I smile of the thought how we spent our spare time in the dance studio and enhancing more our talent.

"I didn't regret even single thing that happen in my life AC"

"Yeah, me too" I answered him with a smile.

But the next things he said made the butterfly in my stomach gone so wild!

"You know why?, because evry memory I can able to recall, you're with me" he then look directly straight into my eyes.

We were staring each other, like trying to exchange our selves. We we're trying to read in each other's mind.

He's moving forward near me. I don't know when did he hold my hands or how he get so close to me like even air will be ashamed to pass through us. All I feel is the sensation that's wrapping around us now.

He slowly move away the few strands that's on my face and hold my chain upward. He's face is getting nearer, and when he's about to crossed the distance between our lips, we heard a sounding knock knock on my door!

I automatically shove him away and stood up.

Lucky's POV

What the!! nendun na eh!! I wash my face with my hands for what might happen.

" Nak, AC I brought you merienda"

I heard Tita Cherry's voice behind the door. AC stood up immediately and open the door.

"Hey, I brought you guys snacks, so you stop cleaning muna and eat this" Tita Cherry said and give me a saucer of white forest cake, and a glass of Mango shake. This is all AC's favorite.

"Thanks Mom" AC said

"Thank you Tita" I seconded

"Welcome mga anak" Tita Cherry replied, she's always that soft spoken and sweet. No wonder Tito Arnold is head over heals inlove with Tita Cherry.

"Your almost done here?" Tita Cherry asked

"Yes Mom, we're about to change the curtains." AC said while she's trying to act normally. Why I can say so?!, because I feel thesame!Goodness!!

"Ah! that's good, so we can have our lunch nah" Tita said "Anyway you continue what your doing earlier, I'll be right downstair, just call me if you need anything okay?" Tita Cherry added and walk outside the room.

Great! just continue what your doing!?!! God!! Does she have an idea that I almost landed the second kiss on her daughter lips??!! I feel so embarrassed right now!! I feel like taking an advantage!!

AC's POV

I was stunned after Mom walk out the door. I couldn't dare to face Lucky! We almost kiss!! My God! I know he's about to kiss me! Should I thank my Mom to be just right on time??! but part of me is like nenghihinayang! Oh my what I am thinking??!!

"Ahm AC/ Lucky" we both said calling each other name! Negkasebay!!

"Okay you go first" I said

"No,no, ladies first" he said..haaay okay..

"Ahm, I don't know if I should say this, but I guess things between us starting to change lately, I mean don't you think we're being carried too far by our friendship?" I told him trying to clear things out

"AC, there's something I wanted to tell you, and I want you to listen eagerly" he seems so serious.

As he about to start talking, Ace come rushing inside without knocking the door, climb up my bed and jump up and down!

Great! why is it everybody is on timing hah!!

I saw Lucky scratching his head as I shrugged on my shoulder.

"I guess I should talk to you regarding this next time" he said and smile

"I guess so" I smiled at him also, that lightens us up and back to our normal things.
