As the next day came, Soonyoung and Jihoon went out for their run first thing in the morning but Soonyoung was barley catching up behind Jihoon. Jihoon was far ahead and Soonyoung was gasping for air.
Once Jihoon realized Soonyoung wasn't right behind him, he looked back to see he was a decent meter away. "Hurry up Soonyong, you'll never improve yourself if you keep running that slow, fatty~" Jihoon teased in a playful matter. Laughing while turning around and continued to run.
Soonyoung took a big sip of his water before trying to run to catch up to Jihoon.
it was no use, no matter how fast Soonyoung thought he was, he couldn't catch up to Jihoon and gave up. Walking the rest of his way, following Jihoon who was running.
Soonyoung just watched as Jihoon was running father and farther away from him. Soon enough Jihoon wasn't even in sight any more. Soonyoung sighed, turning around and walking back to the house. He didn't want to run with Jihoon if Jihoon wasn't even going to wait for him.
Back at the house everything was hectic with Seungcheol trying to get everyone up. "W-Why're you waking me up Seungcheol, I don't even go to school anymore~" Chan says in a tired tone, not getting up but was awoken by Seungcheol.
"Just because you're not going to school doesn't mean that you should stay in bed all day. You're going to get up and take care of Hansol. I have to go to school today myself, so watch over Hansol for me. He's still in a lot of pain. I don't know what happened to him yesterday but he came home beat up badly. I know you two aren't the 'best of friends' but don't take your anger out on him just because he's injured and can't fight back" Seungcheol explains.
Seungcheol was taking a risk, leaving Chan alone with Hansol. He knew those two were the boys who got along the least in the house, they hated each other if you had to sum it down. They didn't like each other in the least, and Seungcheol knew about Chan and Hansol's anger issues.
He knew it wasn't okay leaving them alone together, letting Chan take care of Hansol on top of that, but he needed to go to school, and it was getting urgent.
"Yeah, yeah, I won't hurt the 'precious baby'" Chan says in a sarcastic, tired tone, still having his face planted in the pillow.
"Don't just be saying that and when I get back home, I see Hansol with another black eye" Seungcheol says in a serious, demanding tone.
Chan groaned, meaning okay and Seungcheol sighed, leaving the room with his uniform on.
"You kids up yet?" Seungcheol calls out to everyone else, but they were all already downstairs, putting their shoes on.
"You guys are growing up fast" Seungcheol says in a smile, counting heads to see if everyone was there, but they were missing one person excluding Jihoon and Soonyoung who said they would go straight to school after their run.
"I think Seungkwan isn't here...SEUNGKWAN, GET DOWN HERE!" Seungcheol yells from downstairs, near the front door.
Seungkwan was still in his room, stoking Hansol's head, while Hansol was looking up at him in a smile. "You'll be good, right Hansol?"
"Well I can't do much other then lay in bed and go on my phone so it's not like I can cause trouble" Hansol says in a teasing pout, pretending he wanted to start trouble.
"Shut up" Seungkwan says in a chuckle, rubbing Hansol's head once again. "I heard from Seungcheol that Chan is staying back to take care of you today. Don't try getting on his nerves....okay?" Seungkwan asks and Hansol looked away from Seungkwan, up to the ceiling, thinking about it.
