Warning: Torture(ish) is talked about in this chapter. This can be sensitive to some readers about abuse, so please don't read that part if you are not comfortable with that type of stuff. I will warn you when that section comes up in the chapter.
The whole morning Hansol was fidgety and angry. He clenched his hand into a fist as he shook his head, trying to think of something, anything. He didn't want Chan going to Hyungwon's house and have Hyungwon do whatever he wanted with Chan.
Seungkwan noticed how paranoid Hansol was and raised one eyebrow, questioning "is...something wrong Hansol?"
When Hansol heard Seungkwan's voice, it was like he snapped back into reality because he instantly looked up and his hands unclenched. He tried to make it look like nothing was wrong, but it was obvious he was still fuming. "Huh, what, did you say something?" Hansol questions, looking at Seungkwan concerned.
"I asked if something was wrong...you seem a little angry." Seungkwan repeats himself, still looking at Hansol with the same concerned expression on his face.
"Everything is fine, why would you think anything isn't fine?" Hansol asks, in maybe too fake of a tone. It was obvious Hansol was lying, and Seungkwan could see right through his lies.
"If you're going to lie to me, do a better job at it." Seungkwan says, standing up from his own bed and walking to Hansol's, sitting down next to him. "I know you're not telling me the truth...so tell me, what's up in that head of yours?" Seungkwan asks, poking Hansol's head with one finger.
"I SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG!" Hansol shouts in anger, not really thinking or meaning to shout. After realising he had shouted, he looked down into his lap at his hands and scrunched his face up tightly like he had just ate a sour lemon. Once he calmed down, he twirled his thumbs and let out a deep breath. "I-I'm sorry...did I scare you?"
"You didn't scare me Hansol, I told you I'd never be scared of you. Why is this making you so angry, what's going on? Does it have to do with...the convenient store incident?" Seungkwan asks but Hansol shook his head meaning no.
"No, it has nothing to do with that...it has to do with Chan."
Seungkwan raised one eyebrow in surprise, repeating "Chan?" In a high pitch tone like he was still questioning why Hansol was so angry about Chan. "Did he do something to you, or what? I know you guys butt heads a lot..."
"He did nothing, it's...it's someone from my past, they want to do stuff with him tomorrow and I have to tell Chan to go and meet up with 'him' tomorrow, but I know if I make that happen, my friend will most likely do things with Chan that Chan won't be comfortable with doing." Hansol explains, clenching his fist once again. Just thinking about it made him furious.
Seungkwan could see Hansol's clenching, shaking fists and could tell Hansol was getting angry again. He put one hand over Hansol's fist and asks "why don't you just not tell Chan? Does he have to go?"
"He does, he has to! If he doesn't...then something bad will happen."
"Bad...bad like what?"
Hansol looked at Seungkwan into his eyes. Both boys were staring dead serious into each others eyes before Hansol says "something bad....like war."
Meanwhile in Seokmin's room, he had already woken up from his nap, but when he opened his eyes, he saw Minhyuk at the foot of his bed, staring at him. He practically jumped when he saw Minhyuk there and brought the blankets up to cover his half naked body. He covered his chest while asking "h-how did you get into my house?"
"Do I have to say this conversation again? Your front door was unlocked so I let myself in. I was waiting for you to wake up but your daddy kicked me out of the kitchen cause he's making breakfast. I decided in the meantime I'd just wait for you to wake up in your bedroom...you know, you have nothing interesting in here. You could at least get some video games or something." Minhyuk explains in a light chuckle, now sitting down on the edge of Seokmin's bed, still looking at him.
