"Why're you on the side of the road?" Seungcheol asks, looking at the dirty Soonyoung who had torn clothing and it looked like he hadn't showered in days.
As Soonyoung heard Seungcheol's voice, he got a bit startled and jolted up, standing.
"Don't tell me you're with the police and you're here to take me back to my foster home!?" Soonyoung asks, ready to run off if Seungcheol said yes.
Seungcheol shook his head meaning no as he asks "no, I'm not with the police... I wanted to know, are you a runaway?"
Soonyoung looked down and bit his bottom lip. He didn't want to tell Seungcheol he was a runaway, for all he knew Seungcheol could be working with the government somehow.
"You don't have to worry, I'm a runaway myself." Seungcheol says, looking at Soonyoung seriously.
Soonyoung felt like he could trust Seungcheol for some odd reason. "I am" Soonyoung faintly says, not wanting to repeat it.
"Do you want to come with me?" Seungcheol asks.
"Come with you, what do you mean?"
"I mean like, come with me to my house." Seungcheol explains.
"To your house...why would I want to go to your house!?" Soonyoung asks, feeling that the situation he was in was a little sketchy.
"So that you have somewhere to stay." Seungcheol says, looking at Soonyoung seriously.
Even though the situation was a bit sketchy, Soonyoung trusted Seungcheol and went along with him.
"You don't have to worry, I know you might be thinking I'm some sort of kidnapper but I'm not. So far twelve runaways live in this house including myself and there's no adults." Seungcheol explains.
"No adults...then how do you pay for the bills, and how did you get the house?" Soonyoung asks, a bit confused.
"It was a house that didn't have anyone living in it. It's on the outskirts of Seoul where barley anyone goes so we just chose that house. Almost all of us also have part time jobs so we pay for the bills that way." Seungcheol explains.
Soonyoung nodded along meaning he understood and asks "but why'd you decide to save me from being on the streets? You already have twelve people in the house, adding one more would just be a burden on you." Soonyoung asks, frowning a bit.
Seungcheol chuckled as he explains "because I use to be just like you, living out on the streets."
As the two boys got to the house, Seungcheol opened the front door for Soonyoung and the two boys went inside.
"Where is everyone?" Soonyoung asks, looking around the empty house.
"They're all at school right now, you can go upstairs and take a shower. I'll put your things away. You'll be sharing a room with someone, alright?" Seungcheol asks and Soonyoung nodded.
"Since you've been on the streets I'm guessing you sold most of your stuff?" Seungcheol asks, looking back at Soonyoung who was still taking off his shoes.
Soonyoung sighed as he slowly nodded meaning yes.
"Me and one of the boys you'll meet later will take you out shopping later for clothes, shoes and toiletries, okay?" Seungcheol asks and Soonyoung nodded once again.
Once Soonyoung got into the washroom, he took a hot shower.
His shower lasted for half an hour before he got out and was met with fresh, clean clothes.
