When the end of the day came, Seungkwan texted Hansol saying he would be home later then usual because he had to go to work but Hansol replied with an "okay" not seeming to care much.
Seungkwan was a bit hurt by Hansol's short and cold response but decided to brush it off and walked to his part time job.
Once getting to the store Seungkwan walked behind the counter and started on the cash register where another employee was as well, wiping down the counter. "You're working today Seungkwan...I didn't know you worked today?" The other employee asks, looking at Seungkwan a bit surprised.
"I changed some of my shifts so I'm on different days" Seungkwan explains, opening the register and seeing how much money was inside. "Has there been any customers so far?" Seungkwan asks, then closing the register.
"There's been a couple but other then the few it's been pretty dead" the other employee explains and Seungkwan nodded meaning okay.
"I'll be in the back if you need me for anything" the other employee says, leaving the front counter and going to the back, closing the door behind him.
Seungkwan was left in the abandoned store alone, waiting for a customer to come in. Not too long after when he sat down behind the counter he heard the door open and he quickly stood up once again.
He looked up to see who had entered the store but was completely shocked when he saw it was James. Seungkwan felt like he was shaking in his shoes, he didn't know what to say to James knowing he was the one who had beat his boyfriend up so brutally.
"I want a pack of smokes" James says in English while looking at Seungkwan seriously.
"Damn it...what is he saying?" Seungkwan thought to himself, giving James a confused expression on his face.
James deeply sighed, bringing two fingers up to his lips meaning smokes and Seungkwan then got what James meant.
"Okay, okay" Seungkwan says, turning around to get the pack of smokes and he put it onto the counter.
While James was taking out his money from the wallet he pulled out from his pocket he asks "can you understand me right now or can you not?"
Seungkwan looked at James confused on what he was saying. "Is he trying to speak to me or is he trying to ask how much the cigarettes cost?" "N-No speak English good..."
James deeply sighed, raising one of his hands and Seungkwan looked at James confused on why he was raising one hand.
A couple seconds after James had raised his hand, another man dressed all in black came entering the store. This man looked Korean. He was big and buff which intimidated Seungkwan a lot.
"You think he's the guy?" The man asks James, looking at him seriously.
"I know he's the guy" James says, putting the money for the pack of cigarettes on the counter.
Seungkwan took the money and put it in the register but even after paying for the cigarettes the two men didn't leave the store.
"We know you saw us the other day...are you a spy?" The Korean man asks, looking at Seungkwan seriously with an angry expression on his face.
"S-Spy, I'm not a spy!" Seungkwan exclaims, shaking his head meaning no and putting his hands in front of him to defend himself if they came at him.
"You know this boy then?" The Korean man asks, pulling out a picture of Hansol and showing it to Seungkwan.
Seungkwan swallowed hard and cleared his throat. It felt like something was stuck in his throat for some reason. He wanted to know what James looked like to deal with him for hurting Hansol, but once he was actually face to face with James, it intimidated him too much to say he even knew Hansol.
