"I know you got this, flappy" sabi ko habang nanonood sa TV

I cross my fingers and mentally praying for a miracle

Nakakadalawang puntos palang ang kuponan nila Ara habang walo na ang ateneo

Bago pa makabawi ang spikers ay pinaulanan na sila ng puntos

Nabuhay ang loob ko nung makapuntos si Ara

It's Mika's turn to serve and swear tinawag ko na lahat ng santo but I guess my prayers aren't heard by the saints

Pinatay ko na ang TV ko and let out a heavy sigh

First in my mind is Ara. Malamang sa malamang ay malungkot yun

Hindi na akong nagdalawang isip na pumunta sa 7 eleven upang bumili ng isang damakmak na plastik ng yelo at dalawang tig 120 na ice cream.

Habang nag babayad ako sa counter ay tumatakbo parin sa isip ko si Ara

Kawawang Flappy 'di bale papasayahin ko sya mamaya...

And with that I drove back to my condo with a goal to make Ara happy

...

While walking down the corridor I already spotted the sad flappy, my flappy

Naka lean sya sa wall while busy playing with her phone

"Flaps!!" I called to get her attention

"Kuya palagay nalang po sa door, thank you" sabi ko kay kuya na dala ang apat na plastic ng yelo plus yung ice cream

Binulsa nya sa hoodie nya ang cellphone nya and I thought she'll hug me but to my dismay batok ang inabot ko sa kanya

"Grabe naman Pong what a comfort, thanks" and she rolled her eyes

I laugh and open the door

Isa isa ko ng nilagay sa bath tub yung ice tubes at nung matapos ako ay pinuntahan ko na si Ara

"Oi Victonara wag ka dyan humilata paano ka makakarecover nyan kaagad!! On your feet now" I command but she just let out a groan

Itinawanan ko naman sya "C'mon flappy" and I start tugging her to the bathroom

"Wag Thom bata pa ako" she said in her most pabebe voice

"Mas bata ako" and I stuck my tongue out

"Wag ka ng makulit and I know that you're in pain right know" sabi ko while removing her hoodie leaving with only her jersey shorts and black sports bra on.

Slowly she indulge into the ice. Nilapitan ko naman sya sa may ulo nya and tied her hair and put her headband on.

She close her eyes and relax herself

"Thank you pong" she said in eyes closed

"Anything for you flappy" I kiss her forehead

"Papakainin ko lang si Light at Thunder and I'll be back" good thing in this condo ay hindi ipinagbabawal ang mga pets.

Light and thunder is our 8 month old pekingese

Pinatunog ko naman ang kainan nila para lumapit sila saakin

And there they stood still infront of their food bowls

"Light and thunder be good tonight okay? Mommy is not feeling well" on que they bow their heads

"But tomorrow I'll walk you two" I said as I pour dog food on their bowls

They bark in excitement as I pat their heads lightly
