Liz PoV

"Heavy metal. Must be a door." The boy, Nathan spoke after tapping the door behind which Sienna and I were hiding.

Please don't open it!

I signaled Sienna to remain quiet. She pointed towards a wall.

We could hide behind it. At least it will be better than being caught as soon as the boy opens the door.

I nodded at Sienna and quickly tiptoed towards the wall.

I pressed my back against the wall and tried to hide myself as much as possible.

God please! I don't wanna die here! Not now!

Plethora of thoughts were running inside my brain.

Beside me I could feel Sienna shivering.

I took in a deep breath.

Stay calm. Stay strong.

I heard the door being pulled open.

Light flooded inside the room.

He is here!!! Breathe Liz. Breathe!

Only a wall was separating us from that boy, Nathan.

I couldn't see him but I knew for sure that he wasn't here to help us.

"Wow. Impressive." Nathan commented.

Impressive my ass! I will show you impressive you son of a-

Suddenly loud screams pierced the silence that had descended upon us.

Loud crashing accompanied with screams seemed to coming from outside.

"Natalie!" Nathan screamed and ran out of the room.

I quickly peeped to see no one was there. The secret room was empty.

I heaved a sigh of relief.

Oh thank God!

I looked at Sienna to see her sitting against the wall, shivering.

"Sienna? You okay?" I asked.

"I told you it was a bad idea! We narrowly escaped death." She said as she looked at me with accusing eyes.

"How do you know Nathan is here to kill us? And we did get some information." I said defensively.

"Who is Nathan!? And information?! All it says is 'it has begun'! That's not what I call an information." Sienna said, her voice quivering.

"We have his laptop Sienna. Nathan, the boy, also wanted the laptop. It must have something." I said.

I bent down at Sienna's level.

"Hey-" I started but was cut off with a creaking sound and pounding of feet.

"Shit! Come on! Hide!" I pulled Sienna up and tried running out of the room but Sienna tripped and fell on me causing me to lose my balance and fall down.

We were a tumble of hands and legs.

"Sienna let go of my foot!" I yelled at Sienna.

"Liz you are sitting on my arm!!" Sienna screamed back.

The pounding of feet stopped as I looked up to see a girl standing. I couldn't see her clearly but what I could was indication enough that she was quite pretty.
