Sienna's PoV
"Sienna?" Elizabeth's voice called.
I opened my eyes and gave her a small smile.
"Hey!" I said groggily.
"We have to talk" she said.
"I know." I shrugged and looked out the window. "But we can do that at home also." I looked discreetly at Lydia. Her fingers were tapping some tune on the driving wheel and humming along with some pop song playing on the radio.
"What is it?" She asked.
"What is what?" I frowned.
She glanced at Lydia and nodded towards her.
"Umm..we have a lot to discuss. And the whole day tomorrow, well," She checked her watch which was showing 1 a.m. "Today. So....yeah. But before that I need to see Prim."
"Yeah sure." She muttered.
I nodded, too tired to reply.
"Guess a small nap wouldn't hurt" Liz said and closed her eyes.
I too closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
____________________________________A sharp pain on my elbow woke me from my slumber. I opened my eyes to see Liz literally digging her well manicured nails into my skin.
"What the heck Liz! This is supposed to be my arm! Not a field to plough." I whisper shouted.
"Not my freaking fault. I tried every freaking subtle way to wake you." Liz whispered.
"So you had bore holes into my hand for that?" I asked.
She gave me guilty eyes and then pointed out the scenery. There was river running parallel to the road and beyond the river was a mountain.
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah Liz, the scenery is absolutely amazing but you don't need to scratch out my arm muscles to show your enthusiastic admiration."
She gave me a blank look. She removed her hand from mine and said, "No stupid. Do you recall mountains and rivers on our journey from the my house to Robert's Apartment."
Oh crap!
"You guys suck at whispering or being discreet." Lydia spoke up.
I looked at the front to see Lydia clutching the wheel in a tight grip and a serious expression on her face.
"I think you told us that you would take us home. As far as I remember Wakefield Manor is nowhere near mountains and rivers." Elizabeth said her voice clearly not showing the nervousness from before.
I wonder how she does that.
"Well you thought wrong then." Lydia shrugged.
"Where are you taking us?" I asked.
Lydia looked bored as she said, "Repeating what Elizabeth asked is not going to change the fact that I won't and can't tell you where we are going." She muttered something along the lines of stupid orders..
"Look, wherever I am taking you both, it's safe there." Lydia said.
"Wow. I feel so safe already. Thank you so much Lydia for the reassurance." I drawled sarcastically.
"You're welcome Sienna." She retorted. "Ooh and by the way, I knew you would say this."
"You know me so well Lydia. It's really flattering." Sienna said.
"I think I need to buy you a dictionary and introduce you to words such as silence or quietness. They will do wonders for you." She smirked.
I glared at her. "Your sarcasm is not appreciated."
