I was still reeling from Rick's kiss.
On the cheek.
"Why are you blushing?" Cass suddenly asked.
"I... Rick kissed me." I confessed.
"What!? When?!! Oh my god! I will send him to hell." Cass said.
"On the cheek Cass. As a polite, friendly gesture." I clarified.
"Oh. Okay.. Wait a sec, do you like him?" Cass asked.
"Yeah no." I said.
"Pick one." Cass said.
"Of course not. He is just hot and caught me off guard." I said.
"You think he is hot huh?" Cass said slyly.
"You don't?" I deadpanned.
"Well I can't deny that. He is packed in all the right places. You two would look good together." She said.
"Nah.. I am not looking for a hook-up." I said.
"Hmm you never know. You two might actually end up dating." Cass said.
"Not happening. He is too cocky for his own good. And a flirt. I know his type. They are the Heartbreakers...." I said, air quoting the word Heartbreakers.
"Hear. Hear. Pot calling kettle black." Cass laughed.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked indignantly.
"You know what I mean." Cass said between her giggles.
"No fair. I end a relationship only when absolutely necessary." I grumbled.
"Oh yeah?" Cass said and burst out laughing.
"Whatever. At least I am not a playboy like him." I grumbled.
"Nope. You are not." Cass said.
I smiled at her.
"You are a playgirl." Cass burst out laughing again.
"Har-har. You are hilarious. Now shut up." I crossed my arms in front of my chest and grumbled.
"Oh my god. You two would be perfect. Mr. and Mrs. Playboy." Cass burst into another round of giggles.
"Seriously?" I asked.
"No kidding." She giggled.
"What about you and Brandon?" I asked.
"Ooh he asked me out on a date." She said.
"What!? When? How?" I asked.
"In the hospital. He said he would like to get to know me at a place better than the hospital. I said I would love that. We exchanged numbers. End of the story." She said.
"Wow. Both of us were in the same hospital. You score a date, I get a headache." I said.
"And a kiss." I shot her a glare "On the cheek of course. As a friendly gesture." She said and winked.
"You won't drop that, would you?" I asked tiredly.
"Nope." She smiled goofily at me.
"Yes. Yes. Thank you. Girls we will be home soon." My mother spoke from the drivers seat.
Why is she driving? Where's the driver?
She was busy on the phone since the time I had entered the car.
