Sienna's POV
"We would appreciate it if you leave me and Sienna alone. We have important things to discuss." Robert said.
I was currently sitting on the chair beside Prim's bed, my elbows resting on my thighs and palms supporting my face.
Prim is poisoned. She was poisoned. Poison is is running in her veins. There's poison spreading through her body at a fast pace. And if we are too late, if the poison reaches her heart, then she might..she might...
"Look Mr. Whatever your name is, you can't just barge inside a hospital room and say that the person, who we very well know is in coma, has been poisoned, without any proof."
Cass declared. "And you definitely can't throw us out of the room. Sienna is our friend and she needs us. And how did you even think that we would leave Sienna alone in a room with you!?"
I smiled a little at that. It's good to know that I have made such amazing friends who would stand up for me in such a short period of time.
"That would be Robert. My name I mean" Robert mumbled.
"And for your good and mine, it would be better if you minded your own business. These are dangerous waters you are swimming in, your loyalty while admirable, can put you in grave danger. So please." Robert suddenly straightened and in an authoritative voice gestured towards the door.
"All of you. I understand you are concerned. But as an ex-lawyer I have to respect client-lawyer confidentiality." He went and opened the door.
"Lawyer?" Cass asked.
"Ex. Now please. If Sienna deems it fit you shall be made aware. Till then." Robert said.
Cass looked at me with questioning eyes.
I nodded in affirmation.
"Come on boys. Out now." Cass said and dragged Adrian and Philip out.
"You already have a loyal bunch of friends." Robert commented.
"Get to the point." I said.
He gestured towards the corner of the room.
"What-" I started.
"Eavesdroppers." He muttered.
"OK stop. You were telling me about Prim being poisoned." I said.
"Yes. She has been poisoned and if you want to find a cure I suggest you contact me." He said.
"Why don't you tell me now!?" I said.
"Because this information is classified. In the wrong hands and it could destroy the world." He said.
"You are talking in circles. Why should I trust you?" I said.
"Because no doctor in this world could save your sister from the inevitable. And those who claim are dupes." He said.
"How can you say that!?" I said, getting frustrated.
"I am asking you to trust me. For your parents sake Sienna." He said.
"I-what? You are a random stranger and claim to know my sister is poisoned and you know the cure! The why don't you freaking tell me!!?" I asked.
"I don't have the required information. But they do." He said.
He handed me a piece of paper with some numbers written on it.
"What is it?" I asked.
"My number." He said.
