Adrian's POV

I examined my surroundings.

Sweaty bodies dancing wildly. Check

Loud crappy music blasting through the speakers. Check

People getting drunk. Check

Couples and non-couples making out with each other. Check.

The typical party. Wow! this is exactly like I had imagined it to be. No difference. I am quite satisfied that I maintained my record of never going to a party.

Well until today.

I glared at a certain someone sitting to my right flirting shamelessly with a blonde girl in a red dress who was responsible for breaking my record. This girl looks rather creepy. I think she just drowned in the make up river.

I poked him in the stomach. He groaned but didn't look at me.

Rude much?

I poked him hard. He cried out in pain and glared at me. I shrugged innocently.

"Hey sweetheart. Why don't you help yourself with a drink? Me and my friend here has some talk to do" Philip told the blondie. She smiled at him and glared at me. I happily returned the glare.

After she walked away with the annoying click of her heels, Phil turned to me and snapped, "What happened?"

I narrowed my eyes at him. "You said this party was to be a stress buster. Well, the only thing this party is giving me is more stress. I am getting outta here." I got up to leave.

Wait. Are you confused?

Then let's clear it out before continuing

I opened my eyes to see white walls and curtains. I was sleeping in a bed which looked familiar.

Ahh! The school clinic.

By the way. A good question. Why am I here?

I saw the nurse talking to someone who was hidden behind the curtains.

The nurse and 'mystery guy behind the curtains' ended their conversation. The nurse then sat on her table. I heard footsteps coming towards my bed. He grew closer and closer and then lifted the curtains.

Rick Jameson

"What the hell are you doing here?" I yelled at him.

"Dude. Relax. A simple 'thank you' would suffice."

"And why would I do that?"

"You seriously don't remember?" He looked at my confused expression and shrugged " You fainted and then I had to drag you all the way here. Man! You are heavy!"

What's with people giving me diplomatic answers about my weight? First Philip and then Rick....

"Wait. I fainted?"

"Yeah!"

"Oh. Well thanks then." I said.

"Well. My work here is done. See ya later Dexter. I have a feeling we will meet again." With this he picked his bag and walked away from there.

I hope we don't.

My stomach was hurting as if a thousand oompa loompas were dancing on it.

And then the pain doubled because the oompa loompas were joined by none other than Philip.

"Philip!! Its my stomach! Not a runway for landing yourself!!!!"
