"ALEXANDRA, GOD DAMN IT. I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE. COME OUT NOW." His husky voice screamed through the door. I could already smell the cigarettes he was going to use to burn me. "I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU THIS TIME. DON'T THINK I WON'T."
I began to shake again, and burried my head in my arms, my breath hitching in my throat as I tried not to make it known that I was in here.
The door handle jiggled once more. Steven quietly came to my side, and picked me up, leading me into the second door of the room. He set me down, and signaled for me to be very quiet, then he closed the door behind me.
I could hear the conversation so clearly, I began to sobb. I tried to muffle the sounds in the sleaves of my sweater.
"ALEX OPEN THE FUCKING DOO-" He paused, as I heard the door creak open.
"WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" Steven retaliated. "I'm trying to take a nap in my fucking dressing room, and you're banging on the door and threatening to kill me?! The fuck is your problem dude?!"
"Holy shit.... Mr. Tyler, I'm so sorry. I didn't think-" He stuttered
"Of course you didn't think." He snapped. "I don't know this Alex chick, or whatever her name is. She's not here. I should have your ass arrested. Now leave! Jesus Fucking Christ!"
I heard the door slam, and then the room went silent.
5 whole minutes past, until Steven opened the door of the room I was in, and then sat next to me, curling his arms around me, and pulling me into a big hug. I flinched and stiffened my body at his touch, then I gave in and sobbed heavily into his chest, my tears staining his shirt.
After I managed to calm myself down, I looked up, and realized I was in a bathroom.
I looked around me, until my gaze finally met Steven's.
"Thank you." I smiled. "You didn't have to-"
"Yes. I did." He smiled.
"But why..?" I asked, bewildered. "You don't owe me anything. Iif anything, I owe you. You just saved my life, after I barged into your dressing room, and threatened to stab you..." I huffed.
"And I totally understand why you did it." He gazed down at me, with dark pupils. His eyes sparkled in such a way that sent shivers down my spine. "I like you." He grinned, as the corners of his pale lips trembled slightly.
"Wh-What?" I breathed.
"I like you. You're strong. You've got character. You're quite beautiful too." He said, as a blush spread across his cheeks.
"You don't even know me.." I said, breaking out of his grip, and standing up. I walked out of the bathroom, and up to the door which lead out into the unknown. I pressed my ear up to the wood of the door, hoping to make out some sort of indication that he was either still there, or that the coast was clear, and I could make my ecape.
"But I would like to..." He muttered in embarrassment. "Can I atleast help you get back home? I can offer you a ride on our jet, or you can come with us to finish up the tour, considering we end back east, up in massachusetts anyway. We can drop you off in Jersey, if you'd like."
"I don't need your help." I scoffed. "The sooner I get out of here, the better."
"Or, I could just leave you on your own, with no sort of protection, or way home, with the fear of being found and kipnapped, and even killed, looming over your shoulder with every waking step you take." He snapped.
The sting of his statement, must have been obvious across my face, because his dark brooding eyes, instantly softened.
"Alex... I'm sorry. Shit. I didn't mean it.. I-"
"Save it. You're right." I sighed.
"Great. So you'll finish the tour with us, and then we'll drop you back home." He grinned a Cheshire Cat grin. I know I should've been scared, considering I didn't know him at all, and I practically just agreed to live with him for however many more months, but something about his personality, or his eyes, made me feel safe.
