I walked down the long corridor of the arena, and as I neared Steven's dressing room, I saw a familiar face, though I couldn't quite put a name to her.
Something with an E...
Oh! Joe's ex, Elyssa... There was another blonde chick with her, who I've never met.
They were waiting in the hall between Joe's and Steven's dressing rooms.
As I got closer, they noticed me and gave me relatively snotty looks, which I shrugged off, as I pushed open the door to Steven's dressing room.
The door slammed shut, closed them out from Steven and I.
"Baby, is that you?" Steven called from the bathroom.
"Yeah.. are you nake-" I strolled into the adjacent bathroom, only to be disappointed by a fully clothed Steven. "Awe.." I pouted.
He grinned wickedly, and pulled me into him, kissing me fiercely.
"Mmmm." I moaned as our tongues intertwined.
Steven picked me up and carried me out of the bathroom, resting me on the couch.
His weight was on me, and I could feel his desire pressed against me.
As usual, there was a knock on his dressing room door, interrupting us.
"All the fucking time.." We sighed simultaneously, which made the both of us blush.
"Let's ignore it." I grinned.
"Agreed." He chuckled as he cupped my face and pulled me back into a deep kiss.
"Steven! I know you're in there!" That whiney, high pitched squeal belonged to Elyssa, and I could already invision the smug grin she'd have on her face if she knew she'd break Steven and I apart.
We continued to kiss passionately, for a few more moments, until the pounding on the door became so obnoxious and unbearable.
"Jesus fucking christ, gimme a minute!" Steven yelled back, obviously annoyed.
I fixed myself on the couch as he climbed off of me, and swaggered over to the door, swinging it open so there was just a small crack where he could speak to the girls.
"Ohh... Hey Elyssa.. When did you get here?" He asked, nonchallantly, leaning in the doorframe. "Joe's dressing room is across the hall, but he's with his girlfriend right now, so I'm not sure if you wanna go in there."
"No, I came to see you." She flirted. "This is my friend Cyrinda. She's a..... huge fan." She smirked looking down at his package.
Unfortunately, his back was turned to me, so I couldn't see Steven's reaction... but he was silent for a few moments, which worried me.
Jealousy reared her ugly green head, and smirked maliciously at me.
"Well... It's nice to meet you, Cyrinda." He replied cooly. "But I'm kinda busy right now... I'll catch you ladies later, okay?"
"Okay, Steven." They cooed, as Steven shut the door infront of them.
He turned to me, with such an unreadable expression on his face, then a small grin took over as he made his way back to me.
"Now, where were we?" He chuckled leaning over me, bringing his lips within inches of mine.
I just turned my face away, so his lips slid across my jaw bone and landed on my neck .
He lightly began sucking on the skin of my collar bone, hoping to arouse me.
All I could think about was what just happened.
If Steven says he loves me, than he loves me... I mean... I shouldn't question it, right?
There is something completely unnerving though, about watching the love of your life flirting with some other chick... Yeah, if that doesn't turn you off, than I don't know what does.
"S-steven.." I sighed. "Please stop."
He stopped working on my neck and looked up at me with confusion clouding his muddy eyes.
"What's wrong?" He asked, perplexed.
"Nothing... I'm just not in the mood anymore." I sighed and got up from the couch, as Steven watched me more confused than ever.
"What? Talk to me." He demanded. "Was it something I did or said?"
"Nothing, It's just pretty demoralizing... watching the love of your life flirt with his best friends ex girlfriend, and her best friend.." I spit venom, though I didn't mean to. "I mean, it's not like I can tell you who you can and can't flirt with, but it's just disheartening is all.."
"Is that what you thought was happening?" He asked, bewildered. "You thought I was flirting?"
"Well it's pretty damn obvious that you were.." I scoffed.
His eyes hardened and his frown deepened; he was getting angry.
"And so what if I fuckin' was?!" His voice rose.
I froze, with my mouth hanging open in shock.
He actually just fucking said that...
I knew this was going to happen, and that's exactly why I never agreed to marry him.
I knew I was going to go from "his girl" to "his old girl", and I wasn't ready to be hurt again.
I'm still not ready for it, and somehow, I felt it crashing down on me.
"You know what...." I closed my mouth and nodded, as though I've accepted my fate.
"What?" He crossed his arms across his chest, with an annoyed yet playfull smirk on his face.
"Go fuck yourself." I snapped, and swallowed the lump rising in my throat.
I spun on my heel and stormed out of the dressing room, allowing the door to slam shut behind me.
I stormed down the hall, seeing nothing but red, and hearing everything.
"Wait! Alex!" Steven sprinted out of the dressing room, calling after me. "Shit! Alex, I'm so sorry."
I didn't bother turning around, because I knew if I did, I would melt in those big brown eyes, and I wouldn't be able to say no. And I needed to say no, right about now.
"Ace..." He grabbed my wrist and spun me around, pulling me into his chest.
My heart melted. There isn't a single place on earth where I'm happier, or more safe, than being pressed up against Steven's torso, feeling his heartbeat against mine.
"What do you want?" I hissed, as his intoxicating must floated into my nostrils, calming me down.
"You." He sighed. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it.."
"I know you didn't," I exhaled, mimmicking him. "I just got jealous."
"You know..." He chuckled. "You're pretty cute when you're jealous."
"Don't make me smile, I'm mad at you.." I tried my hardest to remained stonefaced, but a small grin cracked my mask.
He cupped my face in his hands, and kissed me tenderly.
When we pulled away, I noticed Elyssa and Cyrinda with annoyed looks on their faces, which only made my smug grin grow wider.
Steven must've noticed them as well, because he reached for my hand, and intertwined my fingers with his.
"Come on, babe. Let's get back to the castle." He winked, and then looked around "Where's Nick?"
"Right here!" My brother chuckled, running up to us. "Hey, sis."
"Oh my god! You're the prince of Samarinia!" Elyssa shrieked
"Wait... did he just call her his sister?" Cyrinda asked aloud, though it was probably accidental.
"Yep." Steven turned around, grinning wickedly. "Introducting her royal highness Anastasia Cecilia Elena Dawson, Princess of Samarinia."
"No fucking way.." Cyrinda gasped, astonished.
Elyssa looked like she was about to pass out, or start hyperventillating or something.
I just stood there awkwardly clutching Steven's hand, while waving shyly with the other.
"Hehe... Hi.." I muttered, turning to my big brother. "You ready to go?"
"Yep." He grinned as we all strolled out to the limo.
We walked past rows of flashing lights, and paparazzi members screaming our names, hoping for a photo, which to their dismay, we ignored.
Steven, Nick and I all sat in the limo for a few minutes until the rest of the bad made their way out of the arena.
Slowly but surely, everyone piled into the stretch, and we headed home.
For the entire hour and a half it took for us to get back to the palace gates, the limo was filled with talk about how well the concert went, about how Joe think's Elyssa is stalking him, and even about my little scream during 'Dream On'.
I, however, was silent. I couldn't shake the feeling that I was loosing Steven, and something told me he knew exactly what I was thinking.
The moment we got into the house, the band was stopped by my mother and father, asking about how the concert was, but Steven and I, managed to silently sneak up to my bedroom.
We made it upstairs without anyone noticing; I walked into my room, with Steven behind me, and darted for my bed, plopping down on the soft silk sheets.
The minute the door was shut, Steven made his way over to me, and climbed on top of me.
"Well hello there." I chuckled. "Can I help you?"
"Help me, Doctor.." He pouted "I feel sick. I'm jonesin' on love.... I've got the DT's.."
"I don't see you shaking violently..." I joked.
A playfull grin spread across his lips, and he instantly began to shake as though he was having convulsions.
"Help..... me....." He gasped, chuckling.
I couldn't help but to laugh, and roll over on top of him, straddling him.
"Still got the DT's?" I asked, pinning his arms down.
As a responce, he flexed his hips, pushing himself into me.
"Ahh... I see." I grinned. "There's only one way to fix that."
"And that is, Doctor?" He played along.
"You, me, this bed, and a whole lotta lovin'." I giggled, leaning down to kiss him.
