Aston's POV

After dinner I immediately went up stairs. I knocked on dad's study room and went in.

"Oh there you are." He greeted me with a smile. He is with Kenji who is doing something.

"So? What's bothering you kiddo? You wouldnt go home alone and haggard. What happened to you and your wife?" I felt my chest tightening. Words cant spill out of my mouth.

I sighed and managed to talk. "Dad, she left me for another man." He seemed shocked. Even Kenji diverted his attention to me after hearing that.

"Umm, son. I dont think your wife can do that. She's not that kind of woman. I know it." He may be right but she just did for goodness sake!

"Dad! What can I do!? She just did it! She left me for that weak asshole who cant even punch!" I finally let it out. Urgh. This isnt healthy for me.

"Calm down. There may be a good reason why she---" That statement made my my blood boil.

"Dad! What good fcking reason will make my wife go away?!" I cant stop it. This is killing me.

"Did you ask her to leave?" And that stopped me. Fck! I did made her leave!

"Youre an idiot. You expect her to stay after you made her leave? Its natural she would go with the guy. You just let go of a lovely girl. Oh, and let me guess you also told her to expect annulment papers. Thats pure bullshy son." I raised an eyebrow.

"How in the world did you know dad?" I didnt expect this.

"Who wouldnt know? I did that too. But in a more serious note. It only made me miserable. I realized that I should have spent more time with your mom. She was seeking for my attention. But I could not give it to her so she diverted it to her amigas." He stopped for awhile as if reminiscing things.

"Then there was this time that someone sent me some photos of two person kissing. Which is surely your mom. I was mad. So we confronted, I made her leave, She left, I was miserable, but still I was the one to chase." I can see in his eyes the guilt.

"Did mom really kissed the guy youre talking about?" He shake his head. "The guy was the one who kissed her."

"But dad. I dont understand. Why did you chase after her wherein fact she still kissed a guy?" He smiled meaningfully.

"Because I love your mother. As simple as that. Not even a kiss from another guy can destroy it."

"Kiddo, if you love your wife. Tell her. Dont be scared. Dont worry your deal is safe with me. Im not mad at you. Because as far as I can see. You love your wife."

He smiled genuinely at me. "But dad. Im scared that people might judge her. They know me. Im an asshole and a player. I dont want other people to think she's just one of my bitches."

"Son, thats why you love each other. It you and her against the world. And if you are scared because of your past. Then do your best to tell her and accept your flaws. That young girl loves you very much. I can see it through her eyes." He patted my head. And I felt like a little boy all over again.

"Give me the name of the guy who is with your wife. Ill try to find them as soon as possible."
I clenched my fist. I dont even want to say that assholes name.

I sigh before answering. "Its Marlon. But I dont know the surname."

Kenji excused himself to speak. "Umm. Kuya Aston. Yung Marlon po ba yung patpatin ang katawan?" I wanted to laugh but I just managed to nod my head.

"Bakit iho kilala mo ba?" He was thinking twice to speak. Whats wrong?

"Umm. Kuya Aston. Di naman po sa nakekelam ako sa usapan niyo pero.. Si Marlon Espino po... Bakla."

I was pinned to my seat. What!? All along Im getting jealous of a gay!?

Dad bursted out laughing. "Oh my gosh son! You got jealous of a gay!" He just laughed while I was smiling like a idiot.

I stood up and went to Kenji to give him a hug. "Kenji! Thank you! Sht! Dad! I gotta go! I have to find my wife!"

He gave me a thumbs up. I was about to exit when mom called me.

"Aston. Iho, where are you going? Its already 7:30pm." I gave her a hug and kissed her.

"Im gonna chase my life ma! I gotta go! I love you!" I was in a rush. I grabbed my phone and turned on my gps and I tried to detect her phone.

I finally tracked where she is and I drived as fast as I can. I didnt care about those rules!

What matters to me now is my wife. Who I hurted so much. I wanted to tell her many things.

Now I know to myself that I want confess and give her the world.

It feels good. It feels good to love someone like her.

Just wait for me Meghan. The onr and only love of my life.
