Niall lied. He didn't have plans Saturday. He just wanted a way to see Sarah sooner, and it worked. He was going to see her Thursday and today was Sunday. So it's not too bad. Only a few days. He really took what Liam said to heart. Niall was hoping that his "date" with Sarah would go well so he can see her again after that. He's gone on dates before and has even had a relationship or two, but none of them made him feel the way Sarah does. Boy was she attractive, she was one of those girls who didn't have to try. When Niall was talking to her, he could tell she was down to earth. Usually girls won't go near bacon, but Sarah had a good amount on her plate. Niall liked how she wasn't afraid to eat something because it would make her gain weight or was too many calories. It was refreshing to see a girl who didn't care.

He wondered why she didn't have a boyfriend. He was shocked when she said she didn't. Shocked but relieved. He was relieved because now he could be the one to swoop in and steal her heart. Well, there goes the plans on just staying friends. What was he thinking? He can't just be friends with her. He was way to attracted to her to simply stay friends. But if she said she wanted to stay that way he would do it. He would do anything just to see that smile on her face.

Right now he was just lying down on the couch trying to find something decent to watch. Usually Criminal Minds is on, he loves that show. But he couldn't find a channel playing it. He wouldn't be able to pay attention anyway. He's just distracted by thoughts of Sarah. He's never been this way over a girl. Ever. So this was all new to him.

*Back at Sarah's apartment

Sarah was lying down on her bed staring at the ceiling. How is this going to work? What if it goes well and Niall wants to see her again? Should she go? What about Avery? This was all too much. Of course the one time she finds a guy, he comes with all sorts of complications. Nothing ever comes easy to her.

So she just decided to focus on the positive for now. Oh shit. What was she gonna wear? Should she straighten or curl her hair? Leave it natural? And her make up, should she even wear any? Great. Just what she needed, something else to stress about.

So clearly thinking about the date isn't working, she decided to go watch tv. Avery was sitting down on the couch watching what appeared to be an intense episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

"Why do you even watch this show?" Sarah asked while grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. She made her way over to Avery and sat down next to her.

"Sssh!"

Avery was so in to the show. Sarah never understood why people cared so much about them. They're just another famous family. She had to admit though, they were gorgeous. But she just didn't see the point in watching their daily lives.

"Ok. Commercial." Avery said grabbing the remote from the table and lowering the volume of the tv.

"Like I said before, why do you watch this crap?"

"Don't talk shit about my show, or I will talk shit about your criminal minds. That show is the worst."

She loved Avery but her taste in shows sucked. She would rather watch famous people live their perfect lives, while Sarah would rather watch a mystery or at least something with a good story line. They found a happy medium with Pretty Little Liars. But that was about the only show the two watched together.

"Wanna go watch a movie Thursday? Like around 1ish?" Avery asked. Fuck. Of course she has to pick the exact date and time she has plans with Niall. Although, in Avery's defence, she doesn't know about Niall.

"Uhh no it's ok. There's nothing I really wanna see. You can go though." That was the only thing Sarah could think of. She just had to hope Avery could take no for an answer.

"Ok, I'll just ask Becca then." Thank Jesus. Becca is Avery's cousin that is the same age as them. Sarah was relieved that she thought of someone else to bring. That was a close one though.

"Ok sssh it's back on!" Avery raised the volume and Sarah took that as a cue to go back in her room. She picked up her laptop and turned it on. Then it hit her. She's seeing Niall in a few days. She didn't know why he popped up in her head again. But she began to go over what she found so attractive about him.

For starters, his eyes. They were blue, with a little flux of grey. He was tall, which was good because Sarah was only 5'2, and he looked about 5'10. She liked tall boys. Or maybe what really got her was his Irish accent. She wondered when he moved to New York, clearly not as a baby because he probably would've lost it by now. So she made it a priority to ask him. He had a really nice laugh. His laugh was so infectious that when he laughed you couldn't help but smile or laugh with him. She's glad she got to hear it before the date. If he had an awful laugh, what would she do?

She got so lost in her thoughts she forgot why she picked up her laptop. Oh yeah, she was going to watch some YouTube tutorials on easy hair styles and make up that she could do for her date. She loved watching beauty gurus on YouTube. They made life helpful. She watched a few videos then felt her eyelids begin to get heavy. She shut off the lap top and soon fell asleep.

( I'm really enjoying writing this. So I'm gonna continue. Next chapter is the date and I'm excited to write that out. But please vote and thank you for reading it means a lot :) <3 )
