*Early the next morning
Sarah woke up first. When she woke up her head was on Niall's chest. Her head would rise and fall with every breath he took. She could hear his heart beat and did not want to move from this position. He was so comfortable. Niall had one hand resting on his stomach, and the other resting on Sarah's back. She couldn't help but smile after what happened last night. She had told him her horrendous past and he just pulled her in and didn't let go. He made her feel safe. It was weird. They had only known each other for a short period of time yet she felt the most comfortable around him. She wondered if he would treat her a bit more delicately now knowing about what happened with her ex Justin. Even just thinking his name made Sarah want to cry. But she didn't have to think of him anymore. She had someone new in her life. Wait, was Niall even hers though? The only thing they've done was kiss. That didn't really make them anything did it? She decided she would talk to Niall about it when he got up.
She felt Niall shift underneath her. Well that was a lot sooner than she had thought. He stretched his arms over his head and let out a groan. Sarah lifted her head to look at him. He rested his arms back down to where they were before.
"You know I can feel you staring at me." Niall's voice was raspy and thick. Wow. This was the first time she heard his voice right after he woke up, and boy did she love it.
She let out small giggle.
"Sorry."
Instead of replying he just pulled her in closer.
"We have to get up sooner or later Niall."
"No, I don't want to." Niall sounded like a child who wanted things to go only his way.
"Neither do I, but we gotta get moving before Avery gets back." Sarah knew that if Avery saw her with Niall like this, she would go ballistic. She turned over to look at the time. It was only 8. Avery wouldn't even be up yet. Knowing Avery really well made things easy for Sarah. But she knew this wasn't right tiptoeing around Avery. Eventually she would have to know, she was just hoping it wasn't anytime soon.
Niall let out a sigh. "Alright then."
"If we're gonna get out of bed, you're gonna have to let go of me." Sarah said with a laugh.
He didn't want to let her go. He was enjoying where they were way too much.
"I have an extra tooth brush so you can brush your teeth."
"Thanks." He finally let her go. When he did, he felt cold. He missed the feeling of Sarah's body pressed up against his. But there was nothing he could do, she had already made her way to the bathroom to wash up.
The bathroom was right across from her room and she left the door half open so he could see her. He would never get over how small she was. He scanned her body a few times. She was perfect. She wasn't self conscious of her body from as far as he could tell, and from what he saw, she had no reason to be. If Niall had to sum up the perfect girl, she wouldn't even come close to Sarah. He couldn't help but think back to what happened last night. The memory of her crying broke his heart. She didn't deserve what that ass hole did to her. Her size didn't help her, she looked about 5'2 and judging by the picture he was a lot bigger than her. He had heard stories of people who got abused, but he never thought he would hear it from someone he cared so much about. What was their relationship anyway? He didn't want to just be her friend. He couldn't. He should talk to Sarah about it, this way things were clear between them.
He was pulled away from his thoughts when Sarah came walking in with her hair pulled back into a high ponytail and a toothbrush in her hand.
"Here you go." She tossed Niall the toothbrush. He got up and made his way to the bathroom.
