Sarah's POV

Today's the day Niall leaves for Ireland. Time seems to be going by so fast today. We have to leave his apartment by three so he can be there on time for his flight. Right now it's two, and were just making sure he has everything he needs and isn't forgetting anything.

"All good?" I ask.

"Yeah." He zips his suitcase.

My eyes start to glaze over and he notices.

"Come here." He brings me to his chest. I don't want him to go. The thought of only seeing him through a screen or only hearing his voice over the phone is killing me. I'm so used to him being here, and the only time I have to hear his voice over the phone is when he says goodnight or when he calls to tell me he's coming over.

"Ok," I pull away. "Ready to go?"

"Yeah, we gotta meet my parents there." He sniffles. He's trying his best to be strong for my sake. But he doesn't have to be.

I know Niall is trying his best not to say something about how tight the space is in my car.

"What hotel are you staying at?"

"I think it's called Mullingar Park."

"Have you stayed there before?" I feel like that was a stupid question.

"Nope, and I'm not exactly excited for it."

"Is it because your parents are there?"

"I don't mind that part, I just don't want to have to leave you."

I don't say anything. I just reach over for his hand, and rest it on my lap. I want to physically feel him until the moment he has to leave. We're getting closer to the airport so that moment is coming soon.

"Call your parents and find out which terminal you're meeting them at."

He reaches into his coat pocket for his phone to call them.

I drive up to the terminal two where Niall had said he'd be meeting his parents at.

I park the car right in front of the doors. Niall takes his luggage out of the back seat, then resting it beside him.

He pulls me in for a kiss that I don't want to end. But sadly it does.

"I'll call you when I land, and before I go on the plane. Ok?"

"Ok." I can't hold back anymore. I'm sad, I'm sad and upset that he's leaving.

"Don't cry, I want to remember you smiling, not with tears and frown." He smiles wiping away my tears with his thumbs. I pull him close.

"I love you. Please be careful." I say into his chest.

"I will, I promise. I love you too." He says into my hair.

His phone rings. "That's probably my parents."

"Tell them I say hi." I force a smile. I envy them at this point.

"Bye Sarah."

"Bye Niall."

He begins the walk to the door and I watch him. He stops before he goes in and waves. I wave back. Once he goes in through the doors, I watch him until I can't see him anymore. I feel empty and my heart feels heavy. I walk over to the drivers side of my car so I can drive back home. I have to stop crying so my vision won't be blurred.

When I get home, the first thing I do is plop down on the couch. I know Avery is home, but I wonder if she fell asleep.

"Avery?" My voice is raspy.
