Chapter 30

Sarah, Niall, Avery and Chris all ate pizza while discussing how complicated Sarah is. Sarah always turned beet red when Avery would bring up certain things about Sarah as a kid that Niall didn't know. But Niall just laughed because he could picture a tiny Sarah doing everything Avery said.

"Avery you were pretty high strung as a kid too!" Sarah defended herself.

"Yeah, but at least I'll admit it." Avery laughed.

Sarah rolled her eyes and finished the last bite of her pizza. They were all sitting on the floor surrounding the coffee table. Avery and Chris were on the side closer to the couch so they leaned back on it. Sarah and Niall sat on pillows because the floor was really uncomfortable. The empty pizza box was open on the table with napkins they were done using and the empty dipping sauces.

Avery had brought up all kinds of stories from when Sarah was seven and from when she was fourteen. Sarah didn't have the best luck growing up. She embarrassed herself quite often and got hurt a few times. Avery told the story of how Sarah got a huge water stain on her butt while she was with a boy she liked.

"She was like twelve I think, and we had a work period in class. This jerk in our class poured water onto to Sarah's chair while she went to throw something out.." Avery stopped because she was already dying of laughter. Sarah was bright red. When Avery contained herself she continued. "She didn't even notice the water on her chair and she was sitting with the boy she liked, his name was Matthew right?" She looked at Sarah who nodded. "He didn't even warn her, she sat down and when she felt the water she got up with a huge stain that looked like she just peed!" Avery started cackling.

Niall laughed as well. Sarah brought her knees up to her chest and hugged them close. She buried her face in them so no one could see just how embarrassed she was.

"So did you still like him after that?" Niall asked Sarah, still some what laughing.

"No, I cried and ran to the bathroom! He could've warned me! Clearly he wasn't the boy I thought he was." She said causing Niall to laugh harder.

"Thank god we had gym that day so you could wear your track pants." Avery said closing the box on the table. Chris started to yawn. When he did, Avery turned to look at him.
