Niall drove home that sunny Saturday morning with a prominent smirk across his face. He couldn't wipe it off if tried. He was just over the moon. Everything between him and Sarah was back to normal. Back to late night conversations, Sarah shushing him when he spoke during Pretty Little Liars, video games, and sleepovers. His missed them and he knows Sarah did too. He just hoped she fixed things with Avery next. Niall hated the fact he's the reason they fought.

He reached his apartment. The very first thing he did after taking off his shoes was brush his teeth. Once he got out of the bathroom he checked his phone to see if he had any messages.

He had a text from Harry.

*I'm having a barbeque before the weather starts to become shit. You could bring Sarah if you want.*

*When?* Niall replied.

*Tomorrow at 1*

*Ok I'm free but I'll ask Sarah.*

*Alright.*

Would Sarah want to go? They only got back together yesterday and he's going to bring her to his friends tomorrow? He just wasn't sure if she would be up for it. Plus he had to be sure she wasn't working either.

He decided he would call her when right after he showers.

*Sarah's apartment

Sarah felt a lot better now that things with the two most important people to her were back to the way they were supposed to be. She felt that giant chip that was on her shoulder go away.

She texted Mikayla to let her know everything was fine. All she had to do now was just call her mom.

She dialled her moms phone number and when Avery and her boyfriend, Chris, came laughing out of Avery's bed room. Chris was nice. He came over about half an hour after Sarah and Avery made up. He made Avery happy and Sarah approved him. He was tall, lean and was built. He had green brown eyes and dirty blonde hair that was almost buzzed.

"Do you love birds mind? I'm trying to call my mom." She pointed to the phone she was holding to her ear.

"Yeah, yeah! Don't get all pissy we were just leaving."

Sarah rolled her eyes. Her and Niall were the exact same she was just annoyed because she was on the phone. Other wise she would've ignored them.

"Hello?" Sarah's dad, Nick, answered.

"Hey dad! Is mom there?"

"Yeah one sec ... Maria? Sarah's on the phone pick it up!" He yelled in the distance.

"Hello?" Sarah's mom finally answered.

"Hey mom!" Sarah squeaked into the phone.

"Hey baby girl how are you?" Her mom replied cheerfully.

"Actually, I'm great." She giggled.

"So did everything work out like I told you it would?"

"Yeah, Niall came over yesterday out of the blue and we talked things over." She didn't exactly lie. They did talk. But that's not all the did. She wasn't going to tell her mom what happened. It's not her business plus then her mom would kill her.

"That's great! What about Avery?"

"She apologized this morning. You were right," she sighed, "like always."

"Damn right." Her mom laughed at her own remark.

"Well I'm glad everything worked out for you honey." Sarah loved how her mom had all kinds of nick names for her.

"Thank you." She heard a beep meaning someone was on the other line.

It was Niall.

"Uhh, mom I gotta go."

"Is your lover calling?"

"He's not my lover and h..how did you know?" She was convinced her mom was psychic.

Her mom laughed. "I guessed this time. But go talk to him. Call me later. Love you!"

"Love you too!" She switched over to Niall's call.

"Hey!" She answered.

"Hey babe!" Hearing Niall saying babe made her stomach do a flip.

"What's up?"

"Uhh, so my friend Harry is having this barbeque at his house. He said we could bring someone, so I was wondering if you wanted to come?" Niall asked.

"When is it?" She asked coolly. While in reality the thought of meeting his friends made her nervous. What if they didn't like her? Thought she was ugly? Fat? Not that she was but her mind was thinking a thousand thoughts a second.

"Tomorrow at one." Niall answered. "You don't have to if you don't want to. I was just wondering." He added.

"No, I'll come." She blurted out. She felt like she was going to puke after. From nerves though.

"Oh ok, so I'll pick you up at 12:30?"

"Yeah sounds good."

"Ok bye love." Niall said. "I'll call you later."

"Alright, bye!" Sarah said shaking.

She hung up the phone and put it on the counter. She was scared. Getting his friends approval of her was important.

What is she even going to wear? What do you even wear to your boyfriends friends barbeque anyway?

Mikayla would know, she was amazing when it came to outfits. She searched for her phone so she could text her. She remembered it was charging on her night stand and went to retrieve it.

*I have a clothing dilemma and I need your expertise.*

*Perfect! I was looking for another opportunity to help a friend in need lol*

She was so silly sometimes.
