What the actual fuck is he doing here? Sarah instantly felt sick. The class was filling up quick and soon the only open seats would be beside her. She slouched down and covered her face so Justin wouldn't recognize her. But when she glanced up to see if he went to sit somewhere else, he was walking in her direction.
"Shit.." She muttered under her breath.
She turned her head quick and tried her best not to notice him.
"Hi." Justin said as he sat down next to her. He waited for her to turn her face.
Sarah turned her head slowly and shot him a very small smile.
"Oh, Sarah... I'm sorry I didn't know you were in this class." He didn't actually know this was her class, but he knew what she was studying. They always talked about it. He looked nervous.
"Yeah.." She sighed. Sarah started to panic a little. She didn't look him in the eye, she always kept them up front.
"Look Sarah I.."
"Don't even.." Sarah stuck her hand up to stop him because she did not want to hear his pathetic apology.
"I got help."
Sarah spun her head to look Justin in the eyes. What did she just hear?
"What?" She questioned.
"What I did was seriously wrong. I realized I had issues so I got help."
Sarah's mouth opened to say something but nothing came out. She couldn't believe he actually did that. The last thing she ever said to him was in spite. She cussed at him, called him some pretty nasty things. Names he deserved to be called. Justin was so egotistic she thought he wouldn't even consider the fact there was something wrong with him.
"I'm a lot better now." He added.
"Alright guys let's get started! Take out your books we'll be taking notes today." The professor cut in before Sarah could say anything to Justin. She wondered if he had actually gotten help or he was just lying to get her to look at him again. Then Niall came into her mind.
Niall wouldn't like to hear that Sarah sat next to him and even let him speak to her. But it wasn't like she asked him to. He was the one who sat down next to her, Sarah had anywhere to go after that. They were in a room crowded with people, Justin couldn't do anything anyway. Someone would see.
Sarah couldn't focus all class. Everything the teacher said went in through one ear and out the other. Justin was to thank for that. When the teacher dismissed the class, Sarah didn't waste anytime getting to the next one. She gathered her stuff and shoved it in her bag. She just wanted to get out of there before Justin could say anything to her. She wasn't quick enough.
"Sarah wait!" He touched her arm and Sarah immediately swatted him away. It was sort of an instinct. As soon as he touched her, flashes came back from the first time he grabbed her wrist back when they were in high school. Sarah was talking with a group if boys and he didn't like it at all.
"Why are you talking to them?" Justin asked with some anger in his voice. Sarah just thought he was being jealous.
"We're doing an English assignment together." She replied.
"Couldn't you have been with other people?"
"The teacher assigned groups."
"I'm sure she did Sarah. And she just happened to put you in a group of boys?" His tone was getting worse.
"What's wrong with that?" Sarah rolled her eyes at him. She wasn't in the mood to hear him get all worked up over boys who talked to her.
"I don't want you with them. Switch groups."
