Four

This was now the fourth time I had sex with David, and I still hated how awful I felt after the pleasure subsided. When the endorphin high had passed, I was left naked in a bed that wasn't mine, skin covered in marks made by someone I hardly knew, leaving me feeling more empty than before.

As I rolled over, I felt a small relief as my back began to crack and pop, David turning slightly at the small noises I was now making, most of them coming from the moving sheets.
I couldn't deny the fact that I enjoyed the sex itself, much more than previous times. Despite being highly intoxicated, he was slow, delicate, mindful of not only his body, but mine as well. I wasn't an object for his enjoyment only; this time, I was human in his eyes. His lips were soft, and this time, he had refrained from biting so hard like times before. He hadn't made a single advance unless it was asked for, and would still his hips if I needed the break.

I began to rake my fingers through the matted mess of hair that covered my eyes and rolled to the side of the bed he occupied, the silk plum colored sheets beneath us gliding over my skin as I moved, only adding to the comfortable state I now resided within.

"Hey." I whispered, cupping his jaw and kissing him slowly, his lips hardly moving in response due to his heavy sleep. I began to spoon him, enjoying the small moments I would be able to be the big spoon before he would wake up and disagree, claiming to be far too masculine to be held in this way, although in sleep, he seemed to enjoy it. He groggily grabbed my hand and interlaced our fingers, pressing small kisses to the top of my hand with a tired groan.

"Morning." He breathed, voice deep and scratchy from the sleep, making my ears perk, wiggling closer to him.

"How you feeling?" I asked, David turning over to face me, his eyes still shut as he gave a nod.

"Tired." The statement evoked an airy laugh from me and he grinned, eyes opening slowly. Our faces were centimeters apart as he examined my facial features, pressing our lips together once more.

"You didn't leave this time." He grinned, visibly happy at the realization. I smiled bashfully, nodding while looking down at the duvet that lay over the both of us, nuzzling my nose against it softly.

"Nope. Still here." I grinned, pressing my body against his softly, not minding the absence of clothing between our bodies, but instead enjoying the softness of his bare skin and the warmth of his embrace.

"You liked it this time." He breathed, smiling while playing at the strands  of hair that fell in my eyes, tucking them behind my ear when possible. I gave a small nod, ignoring the feeling in my gut telling me to confess how awful I truly felt, although the feelings were now fading with each moment spent in his arms.

"Does anything hurt?" He murmured quietly, and I quickly shook my head no, brows slightly furrowed.

"No. Trust me, I feel really good." The half-truth slipped from my lips with ease and his hardened expression eased noticably.

"I'm glad you came last night." He breathed, lips pressed to the side of my face as he spoke, checking his phone with his free hand as he pressed his lips to my skin, screen tilted slightly to block my view. I couldn't help but roll my eyes, pushing away from him rather roughly, David sighing in response.

"Andrew, it's not what you think." He began to protest, although I no longer cared to listen.

"I gotta go." I breathed in response, pulling on my clothes and grabbing my phone before checking it, having several missed calls and texts from both of my parents.

'I'm on my way home. Benn needed help with an English assignment. Should've asked first, but I didn't think it would be that big of an issue.' I sent, knowing my parents wouldn't call Benn or his parents to make sure I was telling the truth.
