“so how did it go ?” your mom asks when you arrive back at the car, you’ve been gone longer than you expected and you know she must have been worried.

“very good actually, I got to talk to him but I’ll tell you everything when we’re back at the hospital, Justin needs to hear this too”. You put on your seat belt and briefly look at your mom seeing a tear form in the corner of her eye, “mom what’s wrong?” you ask worried.

“nothing it’s just that you grew up so much in these past couple of months since you met Justin, you’re no longer my little girl, you’re a grown woman now” she says emotional.

“aww mom I’ll always need you and I’ll always be your little girl” you comfort her and you unbuckle your seat belt again and lean over to give your mom a hug. “thank you sweetheart I think I needed to hear that” she says sweetly and still sobbing. She wipes off her tears and starts up the car. You put your seat belt back on and your thought quickly go back to your dad and all he said, you’re going through everything again in your head and you have a good feeling about it, that look on his face when you told him Justin was dead , it was just priceless. Despite of the fact that he’s your father you’re happy he’s paying for what he did, now everything is finally going to settle down and you and Justin can leave not having to worry that something will happen to you or your mom. Of course you still want your mom to come with you but you didn’t found the right time to ask her, maybe after you told her what your dad said you’ll ask her.

After a short drive you arrive back at the hospital and you can’t wait to tell Justin everything. When you walk into the hospital you run into Pattie and she’s also curious how it went. “I’m about to tell but I want Justin to hear it too” you say while going on your way to his room . when you’re almost there a nurse stops you “ miss you can’t just leave the hospital without the doctors approval” she says in a stern way.

“look I feel fine okay and if I had to wait for the doctor to release me I would still be waiting by next week” you say annoyed.

“I understand that but every patient has to sign a paper if they want to leave without doctors permission” she says trying to stay friendly clearly surprised by your tone of voice.

“fine if you want me to sign the paper I’ll sign it, you can bring it to my boyfriend’s room ,I have more important things to do than wait here” you say and without another word you head off to Justin’s room.

 “was that really necessary ?” you mom points out to the fact you practically snapped at the nurse.

“yeah I was being a bit harsh on her but it annoyed me the way she acted like I did a crime or something, it’s still a hospital and not a prison”.

“yeah but still I would like it if you’d apologize when she brings the paper you need to sign” she says in a  way only a mother talks to her daughter when she done something wrong and in a way you’re happy to see that side of your mom again ,she’s been so upset and depressed lately and now the mom you know is coming back.

“okay mom I will” you tell her smiling.

When you walk into Justin’s room he’s sitting up in bed with an exciting look on his face, “I thought you were never coming back “ he says in relief , “and how did it go, did you talk to him? “ he asks curious.

“yes I did and it was a very good talk, well for me it was not so much for him” you say smiling and you can’t help but feel proud about yourself.

“well tell us everything” Justin says curious , you join him on his bed and he lovingly puts an arm around your shoulder and kisses the top of your head. You take a deep breath and start telling them everything not letting out one detail even that you told your dad that Justin was dead.
