“wait what do you mean he escaped ?” you shout in panic not knowing what’s happening, it’s like something or someone doesn’t want you to be with Justin and be happy “ when is this going to stop” you ask yourself.

“well after he made an official statement and confessed they told him it was a lie and Justin was still alive, he lost it and hit some cops and just ran out the police station” your mom says in a very calm way, she is too calm and that worries you.

“and why the hell didn’t they stop him?”

“sweetie they tried but he was furious and dangerous but they’re looking for him and in the mean time you and Justin are getting police protection” she says again in that creepy calm way, the way your mom is acting scares you and you’re afraid she’s heading for a break down , these last few months have been hell for her having to choose between you and your dad and then finding out her own husband isn’t the man she married and fell in love with.

“mom why are you so calm and why don’t you get protection? “

“what’s the point in being worked up, it doesn’t help anyone and I don’t need protection cause I’m with you all the time, don’t worry I’m fine” she assures you. You know she can see in your eyes that you’re worried about her.

“sweetheart really I’m fine , stop worrying” she confirms your thoughts and places a loving hand on your shoulder.

“we have to tell Justin this” you say letting out a sigh of frustration , everything was looking so good for you and then this but you’re confident to get through this, there is nothing that will keep you and Justin away from each other.

“I’ll let you do that, you know him best, I’ll be here outside so if you need me just yell” your mom says and gives you a hug before you go into Justin’s room.

Taking a deep breath you open the door and try to smile like nothing is going on but Justin knows you, he knows something is going on.

“what’s wrong baby?” he asks immediately when you in , it’s pointless to hide something from him. You go over and sit with him on his bed holding his hand.

“promise me you gonna stay calm?” you ask first before telling him the news.

“I promise but can I please know what you and your mom were talking about, I could hear you raise your voice”.

“my dad found out I lied to him about you being alive and lost it, he ran out of the police station and no one could stop him” you tell Justin looking down in your lap feeling a bit guilty although you know it’s not your fault but you were the one that lied to him so you are part responsible for his actions.

“are you being serious?” he asks stunned about hearing the news.

“I’m afraid so, they’re trying to find him and till they do we get police protection” you let him know , you’re relieved he didn’t freak out especially after what your father did to him but you know he must be furious inside but he’s hiding it for you.

“well till then I’m not letting you out of my sight” he says determined.

“that’s sweet of you that you wanna look out for me but I doubt the nurses are gonna let me stay here”

“they will have to, this is something important and I don’t want you going out there risking to run into him” he says in a stern voice leaving no room for discussion.

“but what about mom?”

“she can stay with my mom and I’ll arrange for some of my security to keep an eye on them so they’re safe”.

“thank you Justin, I don’t know how I would get through this without you” you say emotional and snuggle in his arms, the only place you feel safe. This whole thing with your dad is one big mess, it feels so unreal like you’re in a bad movie or something. The thought that all of this is your fault still keeps going through your head but you don’t say a thing cause Justin would be mad if you did.

“I just want you to be happy and safe” he whispers while kissing the top of your head.

While you’re lying there in his arms you think about everything that happened in these few months, the plan was to tell your parents you were dating Justin, they would have been happy for you and after a few weeks you would move to live with Justin, living your dream, to be with the one person you love most in the whole world and be happy, having no worries at all but then your dad went and ruined everything. You always knew he was being over protective of his family but this is going too far. The one good thing that came from all this is that you and Justin only grew closer to each other. There is no one or nothing that will break you apart.

“I have to go home to pick up some things” you say after a while sitting up and looking at Justin giving him your cutest smile so he will let you go.

“sure but of the cops is gonna have to go with you, you’re not going alone”

“okay, I’ll be back in half an hour” you say giving Justin a kiss and heading outside. There are already 2 police man outside Justin’s room when you come out. “wow they work fast” you think to yourself.

“hi I would like to go home and pick up so things like clothes and stuff but Justin says one of you has to join me”.

“off course miss, let’s go” one of the 2 man says and he follows you indiscreet making you think when all of this is over life with Justin will probably look like this, a bodyguard following you everywhere you go to keep you safe and you can’t help but laugh at the thought of it, who thought you of all people would end up with a bodyguard.

When you leave the hospital you get a bit nervous looking around to make sure your dad isn’t hiding somewhere. “so this is what it’s come to, being afraid of your own dad” you think to yourself while walking to the car , you hope they get him soon so you can go on with your life and not having to be afraid that he’s gonna hurt you, Justin or your mom again.

When you get in the car you lock the door just in case and let out a sigh of relief surprised that all this is affecting you more then you realized, you don’t know your father anymore and you’re not sure if he would hurt you when he found you. Starting the car and driving off the parking lot you look into your rearview mirror seeing the cop is following you in his own car.

When you get at the house after a few minutes you suddenly realize your mom doesn’t know where you are so you pick up the phone and call her to let her know that you’re home. “okay sweetheart, please be careful” she says worried before ending the call.

You get out of the car and the second you do that scared feeling comes back, you look around as you’re walking to the front door again with the police man following you.

“let me go in first miss, I want to check if everything is safe” he says taking over the house keys and opening the front door, he goes in and checks every room in the house while you are waiting in the hall way with your heart racing from anxiety , being honest to yourself you can’t wait to get out of here as soon as possible, you just don’t have a good feeling about this.

“everything is safe miss, I’ll be here if you need anything” the police man says when he comes back downstairs.

“okay thanks” you say giving him a smile.

You walk upstairs to your room and go through your closet getting some clothes together for you and Justin as fast as you can throwing them in a bag , when you’re walking to the bathroom you hear a soft noise downstairs and you immediately freeze to listen more careful, “stop being so paranoid (y/n) you tell yourself letting out a deep breath and trying to calm your nerves.

As you’re getting your toothbrush and stuff together you hear the door behind you close softly and before you can react you feel a hand over your mouth keeping you from screaming, another hand as tight around your waist making sure you can’t go anywhere.

“I knew I found you here” you hear your dad’s voice, your heart is pounding and all you want is to get out of there, his voice is so threatening and you don’t know what he’s gonne do to you. Suddenly you feel a sharp sting in your arm and second later your body goes numb and you fall to the floor like a rag doll , your mind start going blank and the last thing you see is your dad’s face above you with a vicious  grin on it.
