First thing you do when you come out of Justin’s room is go find your mom and as you expected she’s in the hospital cafeteria with Pattie, “mom i need to talk to dad” you say as soon as you reach the table they’re sitting at not even saying hello, “what why ? I told you he doesn’t want to see anyone”.

“yeah I know and I don’t care, I need to talk to him” you say determined.

“but sweetheart the doctors didn’t say you can leave the hospital yet”.

“I feel fine, I just had a little break down from all the emotions” you assure her. You’re mom has a confused look on her face wondering where the sudden urge to talk to your dad comes from.

“has it something to do with what Justin told you about what happened ? you were in his room a long time and I know he wanted to tell you first what he went through”

“I can’t say anything right now but when I know more I’ll tell you, just trust me okay?”

“I trust you but just don’t do anything stupid” your mom says worried.

“that’s exactly what Justin said and I’ll tell you what I told him, I won’t” you say smiling and you leave your mom and Pattie to finish their drinks.

she has no idea what’s going on and why you want to speak to your father and you feel bad for not telling her, you have to be sure first before discussing it with anyone, you’re not even planning on telling the police what you are thinking about what happened to Justin, you hate your father and for you he isn’t even your dad anymore but there is still that small part of you that doesn’t want to see him end up in jail for the rest of his life so you need to be sure you’re feelings are right and he’s behind this whole thing.

Back in your room you get dressed and pack your things ready to leave hospital, you don’t care the doctors didn’t say you could leave, you feel fine and if they let you or not you’re out of here, the sooner you get to the police station the better.

“miss where do you think you’re going?” a nurse walks in your room when she sees you taken out your iv and are packing. “I feel fine and I need to go, there is something I need to take care off” you let her know.

“if you leave now before the doctor sees you it’s at your own risk”

“yeah I know and I told you I feel fine” you tell her and without saying another word you leave the room and go back to your mom and Pattie who are still in the cafeteria.

“can we go now?” you ask as soon as you arrive.

“why are you in such a hurry ?”

“I said in need to talk to dad and the sooner I do the sooner I can prove I’m right”

“right about what? Your mom says confused

“I can’t tell you right now, look are you gonna take me or do I have to drive myself?” you snap, you didn’t mean to but with every minute you stay here you’re losing time and the nerve to face your father.

“okay okay I’m coming” she says a bit annoyed.

“I’m sorry Pattie but my daughter is in a bit of a hurry” your mom apologizes to Pattie while taking her bag and putting on her jacket.

“it’s okay, I’ll talk to you later, be careful (y/n)” she tells you with a sweet smile. Pattie is such a sweet woman always caring about you despite of everything that happened.

“I will and as soon as I know more I’ll let you know, tell Justin I love him” you say as you start walking out of the cafeteria, your mom following you suit and giving Pattie a confused look not knowing what’s going on.
