Ella watches Noah walk away from her house. She can't help but feel as if he is walking away from her life. Somewhere along the line this boy became a part of her world, and now he is leaving. It's so strange that one day someone can matter so much to you and that the next day they're gone.
As Ella peers at his receding figure she says goodbye to a part of her life she will never have again. Ella is half hidden behind the sweeping curtains. She does this as a precaution just in case he may look back at her. But of course he doesn't look back.
Because Ella & Noah are over.
