"Doc! , How is he?" Kakei's mother asks.
"He hasn't improved at all, he's heartbeat rate is normal but still it's going to be hard to wake him up from coma", The doctor said .
"How much time will it take for him to wake up?" Kakei's father asks
"We're not sure , the accident had severre effect in his head. I'm not so sure. " , The doctor said as he looked at Kakei through the door's glass.
"Don't worry, everything's going to be fine " Kakei's fater said consoling his mother
"If only , i had gone instead of him. This wouldn't have happened." She said as tears rolled down her cheeks
Two years had passsed , Kakei was still in coma . To keep his body physically fit , his father used to strech his body move them. Looking after the Kakei,who was in coma for almost 2 and a half year, had already been a habit for them . Reporters would visit his parents and ask them how they felt .Kakei had gotten the attention of the nation as they heard he was in coma for two years. Then came that day . The day it was time for Kakei to wake up.
"Mum,can you please change his clothes?",Kakei's dad asked
"Sure",She replied as she went to the room where Kakei was kept
As soon as she arrived at the room ,her eyes were filled with tears . There laid Kakei with his eyes wide open
"Welcome back, Kakei",She said as she hugged him
"Dad!Dad!he's awake!!", His mother called hin
"Seriously!",his dad said as he rushed towards the room
Later on the doctors arrived , and started asking him questions
"Kakei you were in coma for 2 years ,how are you??"
"Arghh...Where am I? Who are you?",Kakei asked
"You're in a hospital and i'm your doctor "the doc replied
"Tell me do you remember these people" The docter asked pointing at his parents
Kakei shook his head saying no
After a while the doctors investigated more and realized something
"Has he forgotten us?", Kakei's mum asked the doctors
"He seems to have lost his memories . I don't think he remembers anyone though he remembers things such as trafic rules , his studies and activities such as playing the piano, writing ,reading and such. He seems to have lost his memories about the people in his past . He doesn't remember any friends, relatives and family."
"Will his memories ever come back?",His dad asked
"We're not sure but his memories might come back, there's a chance"The doctor replied
Kakei was then taught about his family and relatives . He started running and was then out of the hospital.His parents told him there's no need for him to continue his studies now because 2 years had passes and he was at the age of 16. He got a pass from the government to join college and then his father bought him a bike which he was too allowed by the government.
Everywhere that Kakei went ,people would stare at him and start whispering "hey isin't that the boy who was in coma for 2 years?".
He joined a college and started attending it regularly . He made new friends but still he hadn't got his memories back.
1 year passed after he woke up. Kakei was now fully fit and fine but still the memories weren't back. He thought making a new memory was far better than having the old memory back.
He made 3 best friends. Ayato-kun, a student learning to become a doctor. Mitsuki-kun, a student learning to become a musician and Asakura-kun a basketball player.
One day Kakei found a box in his room. It was written "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" and inside the box there was a cup. He wondered who gave this to him and beside the box there was a card . It was a card full of birthday wishes and at the back . "To : KAKAI , From: SAORI"
"Eh? Whoever gave me this doesn't know how to spell my name at all." He said as he started thinking who this Saori was . Just then his phone rang
*Beep* *Beep*
"Hello!" Kakei said
"Hey Kakei, it's Asakura here, wanna hang out?"
"Sure , where are we meeting?"
"At the college gate . Mitsuki and Ayato will be there too" Asakura said
"I'm on my way!" Kakei said as he grabbed the keys to bike and off he went
After several hours
"Man ! Wasn't that one hell of a movie!" Ayato said
"Yeah that was too epic" Mitsuki said
"Hey let's go grab a coffee!" Asakura suggested
"Yeah, i'm in! Let's go "Kakei said .
After a short ride.
"Hey how about here?"Ayato asked
" What kind of name is this 'Cafè Latte' " Asakura asked
"It's a classic"-Mitsuki said
"Let's go in , shall we?" Kakei said
As they entered
"Welcome ,Gentle.......*drops the plate* "
A voice was the heard from the otherside of the room
"Hey Sahara, how many times do i have to tell you to greet our.... customers.... " A lady with long hair and fair skin said as her eyes met Kakei's .
