Kakei's POV
It's the day of Saori's arrival. Miya and Takeshi have gone to the airport to pick her up.
And about the gift...Eventually, I bought a ring for her. They told me that I should propose to her.
Anyways, while those two go and bring her to the cafè, I'm here making all the arrangements ready for her arrival.
After 30 long minutes
"Where are they? It's already been 2 hours that they've been gone now. " I mumble as I look at the time
Just then
*ring* *ring*
"Hello? Miya? Did you get her?" I speak as I answer the phone
"Yeah... But there's an unexpected guest with her"
"A guest? Well anyways, all the decorations have been placed and i think~ that we're ready "
"Okay, we're heading over there in a few minutes now"
"Oh, okay"
After a few minutes
As I was checking myself, checking if i was properly dressed and all, I heard the bell ring as the door opened. And then I saw a lady, who I've known for a few years but still made a ton a memories with, her fringes were the fist thing that I noticed and then right after followed a man, slender and a lil' shorter than me.
The man was saying"Wow, this place is good. Tell you what Saori, I've wanted to come back to my hometown for a while. I happy that I came with you"
"Save the thanks for later Jin, This is the cafè that I was talking about" She said just as she entered
Soon Miya and Takeshi too entered and There I was in a waiter outfit, as I realized her hair was in the old ponytail.
She looked at me and I gave her a small smile.
"Why don't we sit down and order something then" The man stated as he make Saori sit and then sat opposite to her
"Hey waiter!" He called
"Ah- Yes Sir" I go to him potentially to take orders
"Bring this beautiful lady a macaron" He said to me
"Oh okay." I say then I looked at her and asked "strawberry?"
She nodded in agreement
Seconds later I came with the best macaron that I could
"And Sir, would you like to have something?"I asked him
"A parfait" he said
I went on to bring him a classy parfait.
While they were chatting, I was silently telling myself not to act stupid in front of them
After their meal was over, the man stood up and said" Okay Saori, I'll be heading off to my old home now. I'll meet you tomorrow" He said giving Saori a kiss on the cheek.
Just as he did Takeshi interrupted" Whoa-Whoa there, Did you just kiss her??"
I clenched my fist as he kissed her. ( Seriously, I wanted to punch him in the face)
The man replied " Of course, we're engaged "
