"Mom" I called out
After heating footsteps growing progressively louder, The handle twisted and i could see mom.Right after that i hugged her
"Mom...." I say to her while hugging her
"Kakei, where had you been?I was so worried."She said to me
"I know ,mom. I know." I say to her.
After a while
*Ring* *Ring*
"Aunt, Have you got any news about Kakei?" Was what the caller had said
"You dumbass, I'm Kakei. Who are you?"I say to the caller
"What!? Kakei? When'd you....*Sigh*I'm your doctor, Praj..."
"Oh! Doctor!" I said
"Ah! Kakei..." He says
"...Doctor, You were one of my Best friends weren't you?"
"Yeah...I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about it..."
"It's okay ..."
"Well that's all that I wanted to hear...Oh and Kakei, Kanda told me that college was starting tomorrow "
"Tomorrow... I guess i'll take a day off"
"Okay then ... I have work to do . So i'll see you later."
"Yea, see you later I guess?"I say as i hung up
"Whose call was it?" I heard mom's voice from the kitchen
"It was Doc.Praj " I say to her
"Hmm, he really was worried about you."She said
After exploring a few rooms I realize that The book I gave to Fukari to read, Saori's book, was lying on the table of a room .
I picked it up and started reading the book. Halfway after I finished chapter one I remembered about Asakura and the others. So i tried calling them
"Hello Asakura?"
"Yo! Kakei how've you been?"
"Ah, I've been doing fine and about college..."
"Naa, don't sweat it bro. Even if we don't go to the same college we'll still hang out . It's not like we'll never see each other again "
"Asakura, I ....don't know what to say."
"Nope. Don't cry you crybaby! "
"I'm not crying!!" I scream
"Haha, well i've got to eat dinner now. See ya!"
"Yea, See ya."
I go to what was supposed to be my room and I hoped into bed with Saori's book in my hands .
After a tiring day such as today, I was already drowsy and then kept the book aside and before realizing I was already in deem slumber
