WAITING FOR LOVE

It's been hard on you hasn't it

Her light brown eyes were staring at me, I tried avoiding her gaze and tried looked down.With me staring at the ground she understood that I was not okay, She always understood me so easily.

"Kakei.I heard you lost someone, I'm sorry." She said to me

"..." I raise my head and look at her and with nothing to say to her i turned my head away

"...So, you're going to make a guest just stay at the door?" She said to me crossing her arms trying to lighten the mood

"!!"I immediately realize and make way for her

Saori entered the house on entering the house she saw that there were wrappers of chips and bottles of coke everywhere .

"You've not been eating properly, coke and chips only? You'll get sick you know"She said to me looking at all the mess

"..." I couldn't say anything to her, My voice was so weak . I then went to my room to give Saori something to eat

She went around some rooms and she saw that Kakei had hung pictures of his dead sister and father on the wall of his room

Realizing that Kakei had lost not one but two irreplaceable people she stated silent for a while

Kakei approached her with some chips and tapped on her shoulder from behind to call her

She turned at him and upon seeing him offering chips to her she took some and she looked at him

Seeing Saori looking at him Kakei again avoided her eyes and looked away.

Saori then went to the room where Kakei came out from. Kakei tried stopping her by shaking his head but she insisted eventually Kakei let her go in

Upon going in she saw that what once was Kakei's room filled with posters and family pictures were all half torn and messed up.

Kakei reacted to this by picking up the torn pictures and throwing them in the dust bin .Saori seeing this decided something

"Kakei, sit here" She said pointing towards the floor

"??" Kakei reacted to her

"Just sit here." She said

Kakei nods his head and sits beside Saori

......

"When i left my purse here, i came to get it back...and I saw your sister do this to you. So to cheer you up ." She says and gently pulls Kakei's head on her laps. "Just this once, I'm going to give my lap as a pillow"

Kakei while his head was on her lap tries looking up trying to understand the situation but Saori pushes his head foreword and says "No looking up! This is a kind of embarrassing it tickles a little bit and close your eyes..."

Then a weak voice escapes from Kakei's mouth" W-Why? "

"Finally you used your voice. I was thinking that you had lost your voice " She says while caressing his hair

"...Saori..."He says

"...Are you tired?" She asks

Kakei slightly shook his head in disagreement

"Are you troubled?" She asks

"..."

Saori then slightly lowers her head towards Kakei and whispers just above his ear "It's been hard on you, hasn't it ?"

...

Tears roll down of Kakei's eyes then he says while sobbing and whimpering " It was rough...I was so sad. It hurt so much, I thought I'd die...I was so desperate...So desperate to make things all right!It's the truth."

"Uh-huh, I know. "Saori said while caressing his hair

Kakei continued his weeping and resumed "Because I loved them. *sob*They were so important to me! Even when dad sacrificed himself... *sob*I was scared...*sob*I was so scared. I don't ever want to feel like that ever again...And i hate myself for all that i've done!!"saying so he cried and then fell slowly fell asleep on her lap.

"You're a good boy Kakei" Saori said as she still caressed his hair while he was asleep

After a while

Kakei suddenly wakes up to find that there was no one in the room

He get's up and looks around there was no one in the house . Kakei thought that all that had happened was just a dream .

It was already 7:00 pm and just as he went to the kitchen he saw a note and a sandwich next to it.

The note said :

How are you feeling now? I hope you're okay. Well, I'm sorry i had to leave without saying anything but I made a sandwich for you (I didn't burn the stove this time) . And by the way, Your friends were asking about you. Oh and take care!

"Did i just cry on her lap with tears and snot tears all over my face!!??? "He screamed

*Sigh*

"But one thing's for sure ....

Damn, I fell for her"
