WAITING FOR LOVE

I waited...time seemed to be going slowly.
7:42 am . 42 minutes had passed since we last saw her. Her crying face is what I last saw. Seeing her cry like that, I knew she was scared.

The operation will probably take 3-4 hours. Me and mum are holding each other's hand tightly.

This felling, the tight and soft feeling in my hand, the racing beat of my heart , the tapping foot sounds of my foot . It all makes me feel like I'm going to die.

I needed to take care of this feeling. Let me think about something else.

I haven't been anywhere but in the hospitals for almost a week. My phone's dead. I don't know how Tofu is. College is about to start. Now all this's happened , I'm not sure if i should join a college . I wonder what every one in the cafe is thinking... Saori-chan, her book's been published already. I still have to read it but only once Fukari finishes reading it. Saori-chan, Asakura, Mitsuki, Kanda, Samuel, Agi and Ayato all of my friends must've thought why i disappeared all if a sudden. I haven't met Dr. Praj , I wanted to talk to him

It was already 9:00 am . The words that Fukari said to me yesterday were still in my head , repeating , repeating, Echoing my mind " If my operation fails tomorrow, Please take care of mum" .

The cold waiting area with almost no people and the sound of a machine growling growing little by little. I could feel my eyes feeling heavy. I could tell that my body was tired but i tried my best to stay awake .............................

By the time I woke up I was alone in a room, on a bed . I had passed out due to the sleepless nights I had gone through. It was raining outside and the streets looked all deserted .I glanced at the clock while still on bed

It was 3:00 pm. I panicked and was trying to get myself out of the bed when a doctor came in

Then he said to me "You've woken up. There's-"

" Fukari! IS SHE FINE?"

"I'm terribly sorry... she passed away..."
