Kakei falls unconscious on the ground just after he enters the house.
His sister freaks out and tries to handle the situation . She checks his pulse and then checks his temperature. It turned out Kakei was suffering from a fever .
Kakei was dragged to bed by his sister . He laid in bed for almost 3 hours and then finally woke up.
Kakei's POV :
"Argh.... Where am i?"I said while putting my hand on my head
"Brother, you're finally awake! You fell unconscious on the floor !" My sister said while rushing from the kitchen
"...Unconscious?....Yeah...I do remember having a headache on my way home but I don't remember falling unconscious.." I say as i try to stretch my arms
"Hey! Don't move!You have a really high fever and you're not going anywhere until you're fine!"My sister said bringing a hot glass of milk and some cereals
"Okay-Okay" I say as i took the glass of milk from her hands
"Okay then, since you're not feeling well. I'll be the one cooking dinner . Don't even dare to come out of the bed! " she said to me
"Mnnnmm-hmmm" i say while munching the cereals
"Okay, I'm going to go buy some veggies now." Sis said while wearing a jacket
"...Hey! You sure you can go all by yourself?"I say after quickly swallowing the cereal
"Of-course Brother. I'm a grown up now! Jeez , Stop looking down on me"Sis said as she was ready to go
"Eh..Okay. Get home in time okay ? And walk from the side of the road alright?"I say getting concerned
"Like i said , you look down on me . I'm grown up now ." She said closing the door
"..."I sat there in silence trying to recall what had happened today .
"All the things that happened....Did it even happen today? It feels like yesterday. " i say to myself looking at the ceiling
After having thought of that, I remembered the persons who told me that they were my old friends .
"...I wonder how i was back then..."I said to myself as my eyes felt heavier and eventually fell asleep
By the time i woke up my sister was beside me doing her assignments on her laptop.
"Finally awake ?" she asked me
"Yeah..." I said rubbing my eyes
" Well your fever's not gone yet so don't get out of bed .I'll bring dinner here"Sis was saying as she left for the kitchen
I straightened myself and my sister came in the room with dinner .
After having dinner I was told by my sister to take rest (again?) and therefore i had to listen to her
I tried forcing myself into sleep mode but it just wouldn't work. Then i tried thinking . Thinking how i used to be in the past. How many friends did i used to have .
Suddenly trying to think of all these things my head started aching
I bared it and started reading a book under the dim light of my room.
