The Wait is Over

[Continued from chapter : Life]

"Everything's so good right now. I don't want to die..."

I told them that my flight is in a few days and that I'd like to spend my time alone with my family.

A few days passed, it was scary to think that at any moment my heart could stop beating, my body could stop working, my mind could stop functioning. This fear had engulfed me. Everyone's afraid of death. Yet still I kept on surviving.

My body feels weak. My head is throbbing and my heartbeat rate is abnormal. I don't know why but I want to be with them again.

I still want to be with them but I've turned to an agathokakological ( . . . . ) person. I visited the doctor, he asked why I chose this path? I gave him my answer. "I want it to be this way."

Yet still I'm not satisfied yet. Why? I don't know.

Third Person's POV

A few days later the last reunion that Kakei had with his friends he got a call form Takeshi.

"Hoi! Kakei!!" Takeshi said through the phone

"Takeshi? ... What is it?"Kakei said

"We thought that we'd help you pack and arrange stuff" Takeshi said

"... Why would you guys help me pack my stuff ?..." Kakei replied

"... Actually Kakei there's a party today."

"Party?"

"Yeah, Saori's book got published and they're organizing a party just like last time."Takeshi said

"... I don't think that I'll be able to come" Kakei said

"Why? Isn't there still days left before your flight?"

"Ahh, Yeah but-"Kakei was saying but his words got cut off by Takeshi

"Jin won't come alright. He's busy with some business of his So I thought that you'd be able to spend some time with her and maybe you could propose before leaving! "Takeshi shouted through the phone

"I'll try" Kakei said

"I'll email you the venue to you then..."

After receiving the email Kakei started thinking whether he should really go or not.

He really wanted to go but he was afraid that his health condition would worsen but if he didn't he'd really miss a really good chance of being with his friends.

"...Guess I'll go"

At the party

The sun shone bright orange and was on it's way fading beyond the hills around the town. It was 7:30 P.M and all the people started entering the venue.

"Did the venue have to be this far? It's almost in an abandoned area. It's also really close to the forests" A guest said to another as they entered

"Every one's here?" Saori asked Miya

"It seems so " Miya said giving off a shrug to Saori

"Kakei's not here." Takeshi said

"What's taking him so long?" Miya said

The venue was a huge building wonderfully decorated in the far side of the town which was built in a place where once a famous school resided. A huge dance hall was arranged, the rooms were huge and a stage had been set up for a speech that Saori was about to give on her newly published book.
