Kakei's view
It's been three months since that day, the last time I saw Saori. All that has ever happened between her and me feels like a dream.
I've claimed the job as the manager of Café Latte, I haven't hung out with Kanda or anyone of my friends. I just go to college and come back to the cafè.
Today's Thursday . I'm suffering from a mild fever right now and my head aches have been getting really severe lately.
After a while, A staff member opens the door to the manager's office and asks
"Manager, the bill is off the roof this month!"
"How much us it?" I ask him with a straight face
"It's around 50 Lakhs!!"
"Well then, that only means one thing."I say
"?"
"We have to do something that attracts alot of visitors,no?"I suggest
"But what do we do?"
"Give me some time, alright. I'll figure something out"
Then the staff leaves and I start thinking of organizing all sorts of events but none of them seem to fit our budget
"Ah! I don't know anymore!!" I shout out aloud making the staff members outside wonder
At the other side of the story
"How about we do a drama?" A girl asks Saori
"A drama?" Saori questions
"Yeah, A drama ! Wouldn't it be amazing if you could write a short love story and maybe we can have someone act the drama out?"
"You're right... But where do we find the people who will participate ?" Saori asks
" if you make an announcement there's going to be hundreds of people wanting to participate but to make things easier...?"the girl states
"To make thinks easier?" Saori asks
"We can use help from café latte!"
"Oh, there..."Saori says
After a few hours A café workers who is also one of Saori's bff gets a call . Saori tells her about the drama.
Saori's bff then goes to the managers office and tells him everything about it.
After hearing everything, Kakei unwillingly says to her" Things aren't going well between Saori and me lately, I don't know if we could make this happen."
"Maybe this is your chance to make things right?" She says
With that thought Kakei finally agrees and as he did he thinks " Maybe I can apologize to her in this event"
After all the arrangements had been made, it was time to select the roles of the people.
The short classic romantic drama goes like this:
An orphan princess who lived with her evil adopted stepmother was cursed by her that if she ever stepped outside the castle she would fall in deep slumber and only a kiss from a prince could wake her up.
The roles of the play were decided by the girl who invented the idea of the drama, Miya.
The princess: Saori
The prince: Takeshi
The evil stepmother : Miya
The 2 princess's friend : Sahara and the bff that told Kakei about the drama, Reiko.
Kakei wanted to take part in the drama but couldn't because his mild fever had turned into a rather serious one.
After a few days of extreme practice it was finally the day of the Drama . All the members of the café as well as Saori's team were scheduled to meet at the stage on 7:00 am
Kakei's Pov:
" Ok, it's 7:00 . This fever is really getting intense. Today i must apologize to Saori for shouting at her the other day. What was I thinking back then??"I was starting to wonder just when I hear foot steps
I look up and I see Saori, who i haven't seen since the day I shouted at her, she didn't even look at me at all and went across me . I'd thought that she would've at least said 'hello' or 'good morning' but she didn't and just went her way towards the stage .
This already wanted to make me leave but I resisted thinking that If I apologized today, This kind of stuff wouldn't happen in the future.
After a while all the crew members gathered and prepared for the drama. At 9:00 the audience started coming and the audience consisted of around thousands of people.
The drama stared .
The princess saw two of her friends that she always met when her stepmother was not around and the two of her friends told the princess to come to play with them but as soon as she touched the ground her body completely gave up and she fell into deep slumber
At the back stage, Takeshi was getting ready to play the prince and I was just watching them from the back stage but suddenly Takeshi got a call that something had happened to his mother and without caring about the drama at all he rushed out of the hall.
The princess was lying in the box in deep slumber and was waiting for the prince to arrive but the prince was not there
"What do I do now , there's no prince here!?" I say to myself
"I can't let their hard work just go to waste....Ok I'm doing this"
And so , I who had a really high fever wore the prince's outfit and went on to the stage
The two friends were around the box thinking that the princess had died left the stage and suddenly a voice entered the stage
"This voice? No way! " Saori who was playing the role of the princess who was in deep slumber thought
" To see a casket in such a place." I say as I entered the stage with a really high fever
