Niall stood in the room feeling alone and terribly confused, what did the Seer do? Would the Seer be like the inspector? He hoped not, a sense of dread was also hanging over him, since becoming a vampire he seemed more untuned with his Instincts and they were telling him whatever happened when he met the Seer, wouldn't be good.

Emily came through the doors in front of him, it was only now he relised how familiar she looked but he couldn't place where he had seen her before.

Emily told him "Come with me, you'll meet your friends soon"

Niall wondered how Amy was doing, he hoped she was alright...

Niall gave Emily a quick jerky nod as he followed her into a tiny room where they waited in silence, Niall so wanted to break the silence but he had no idea what to say, so they just stood there, next to each other, waiting for the magic Okay that would alert Emily and let Niall face the Seer and his future...

Niall walked into the other room an old lady was waiting for him, her gaze was hard and Niall despite being a powerful vampire felt himself cringe at her look, so this was the Seer?

The Seer told him smiling but was it him or did her smiling look kind of false "Dear, would you like to sit down in front of me please?"

Niall sat down at a desk, facing her, his eyes widened suddenly just noticed the strange cards lined up on her desk, this looked...interesting.

The Seer calmly told him about how these cards told the future and that he must pick one to help them see into her future. So having your future told could be real? I never saw that one coming Niall thought, he wondered what his friends had gotten on their cards.

Niall reached for one on his left at the far end then turned it over...

An picture Arrow was on the front, two arrows, one was completely snapped in half and another was crooked, a strange uneasy feeling went through Niall as he looked at the picture on the card.

Before Niall could ask what on earth were broken arrows meant to tell him about his future, the Seer asked him "Do you know what arrows symbolise Niall?"

Not bothering to ask her how she knew his name Niall said shrugging "Uh, going in a certain direction?"

The Seer nodded and said "You see, broken arrows" She tapped the snapped in half arrow "Mean the ending of something, it could mean the ending of a war or it could mean the ending of piece between two different cultures or mabye even species, it is an ending that can done be undone"

Niall gulped again the prickinling feeling of uneasyness caught him as he asked "And the crooked arrow?"

The Seer said smoothly "It may be a warning that tells of difficultys in your future or any issues that arise that should be confronted or avoided, it also may be a warning of... Deception, things aren't as they seem"

Niall thought, oh great, this helps me so much, why can't I just get a straight answer for once?

Niall with the Seers consent picked up another card, turning it over he raised his eyebrows as he looked at two roads? Two empty roads entwined with each other then going in different directions, Niall looked at the card completely confused.

The Seer seemed to sigh with refleif.

"Does it mean I'm going to travel somewhere or something?" Niall asked confused.

The Seer shook her head and said "This is a very easy one to read, it simply means, choices"

Niall frowned, choices? He wasn't very good at choices.

The Seer said eyeing him "It means you will have an extreamly difficult choice to make, something that will have an effect on you and those around you"

Niall said "I don't-"

The Seer interrupted him "Would you like to pick another card dear?"

Niall blinked "Wait! Is that all you're going to tell me?"

The Seer said dryly "I'm sure you'll figure it out soon, this choice will happen very soon, I fear, very soon indeed, another card child?"

Niall scowled at her and picked up his third card...

He turned it over.

Nialls jaw clenched together and his dead heart if he had been beating would have gone a mile a minute, he didn't know why he was reacting like this.

Niall stared at the card, pure dread and an overwhelming feeling to run overcame him, it was like his brain was screaming get out of there! Save yourself, leave someone else to take your place! But he couldn't...it was like he was glued to his seat.

The Seer looked at him with such intensity that made Niall's skin cruel, she told him gently " We all make choices child but...in the end it is the choices that make us"
