Morrigan groaned as she woke up, the mid-day sun peaking through a crack in the closed blinds, causing her to squint from the brightness. She moved around a little, feeling an arm pull her in closer to a firm body behind her. She smiled as she turned around, seeing a relaxed face of the ebony haired Corporal sleeping. She had never seen his features so relaxed before, his scowl and stress lines gone which made him look younger than he already did. Morrigan just lied there and watched as his chest rose and fell in a calm rhythm, his breathing never hitching. He must be having a good dream. She thought as her eyes looked around her room, this would be one of the last times she would be in here before she had to return to the island. It her heart she was actually going to miss it, but the idea of it left her mind almost immediately as she turned back to the man sleeping beside her. Studying his features again, Morrigan let out a sigh, I'm going to miss this.

"Why the long face?" His lips said, the relax features leaving his face as the stress lines came back into view. His eyes opened to reveal the grey colour that seemed so intimidating to others while she saw them as inviting.

"Are you saying I look like a horse?" She said back with a smirk, getting up to get out of the bed but was pulled back and pinned to the semi-hard, semi-soft mattress. Levi easily straddled her, holding her down when she gave him a confused look.

"What aren't you telling me?"

"I have nothing to tell. I'm just a little drowsy still." She said.

"Are you lying? You know I get pissed when you lie to me about stuff."

"No." She said, barely able to keep the smirk in. "Honestly, I'm just drowsy. You should know how I act when I get up." She laughed, kicking one of his legs out so she was able to switch positions with him. Pinning his hands above his head, Morrigan studied the expressionless face. "Are you scared?" She asked seriously, not fully understanding what was going to happen that night. Her grip loosened and Levi cupped her face in his hands, pushing away the red locks that hide the sad expression.

"Everything will be fine." He simply said. "Besides, you have things to do after this right?"

"Trying to get rid of me already?" She laughed, getting up and going to the washroom attached to the room. She washed her face and cleaned up, moving back into the bedroom to grab a change of clothes, only to see Levi sitting up in the bed. He actually looks rested...She thought, grabbing an identical set of clothes to the ones that she originally came to this place in, along with the black cloak. She sighed as she walked back into the washroom, closing the door behind her and changed what she grabbed but stopped for a second to look at her reflection. Her eyebrows knit together as she stared at the reflection when something her dad had told her came into her head.

"If all goes well, don't feel like you have to return if you are enjoying your life there." She remembered he sighed as he pulled her into a hug. "You are such the spitting image of your mother in appearance and attitude it's troubling." He said as he started to shutter a little.

"Dad?" She tried to push him away to look at his face put he held her tighter. Was he crying? She remembered thinking then when he pulled away the somewhat red eyes approved her theory. "What's all this about?"

"I love you, Morrigan, no matter how far away you are." He simply said, kissing the top of her head as another tear fell from his eyes.

Morrigan rested her head in her hands as she silently cried behind the unlocked door. Her shaking sigh caused her to look up, seeing her reflection of the red tears leaving her eyes. A knock came at the door, causing her to start the water again at the sink. "Are you coming?" Levi's voice said, the door knob turning to let himself in. Morrigan was able to wash away the red streaks running down her face but the colour had not yet left her eyes. "What's wrong?" Levi asked, gently patting his hand on her head after she let out another shaky sigh, leaning in a little to get a better look at her face.
