"WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME, I CAN'T BE BLAMED... I WANT YOU TO WANT ME AGAIN,"
*does dramatic hair flip/fist pump*
"IS IT DESIIIIIIIRE.... OR IS IT LOVE THAT I'M FEELING FOR YOU?"It was 7.a.m and Liam and I were in the car, singing our hearts out to Years&Years on the radio.
This song came on at our prom and it was pretty much the same story.
The lyrics were pretty cliche considering our current relationship status, but it was funny."I WANT DESIIIIIRE, I WANT TO SEE, WHAT YOU'RE WILLING TO LOOSE!" I screamed.
"OOH WHAT YOU'RE WILLING TO LOOSE!" Liam continued, just as ungracefully.
"AAAAAH, AH AH AH...." I rounded off the song.
Liam looked over at me and laughed.
The sun was calm and soft against our eyes, and the air was cool and fresh. The next song on the radio was Rude, so Liam and I continued to sing.
We got stopped by a traffic light and carried on singing wrecklessly while the people in the car next to us watched.
They couldn't hear what we were singing but the passionate performamce through the glass was enough to send them all into hysterics.
Liam and I caught them watching and carried on unbothered until the light turned green again.
Then once we'd passed, we laughed till the song finished."You know, you're a good singer." I laughed.
"Sure. You too, you know what, we should start a band."
I laughed.
"No seriously." He held back a chuckle.
"Oh yeah," I put my feet up on the dashboard. "And what would we call this band?"
"Destiny's Monster."
"Destiny's Monster? I was going to go with a simple Shut the hell up, you suck!"
"STH... UYS. Has a nice ring to it."
"Yeah...." I laughed quietly to myself.I loved being with Liam.
We took a right turn off the main road and stopped at a petrol station.
"Outta fuel," he said, turning in and parking at a bay. "You coming?"
"Mm-hm." I replied, stepping out of the car.
It was so much fun being out and about early morning. I wouldn't have known before. I'd either be asleep or just lying awake in bed till 2.p.m usually."Here," Liam said, slipping a tenner over the roof of the car to the side where I was stood. "Buy breakfast."
"Okay, what do you want?"
"Who me?" He put his hand to his heart and raised his eyebrows, smiling. "I'm flattered. Er... an egg and bacon sandwich will do for me thanks. Oh and get some drinks or something too."
"Sure." I turned and went into the shop while he continued pumping fuel.I returned with an egg and bacon sandwich, an all day breakfast wrap, two mango smoothies, a large bottle of water and £2.58 change.
Liam was sat in the car and ready to go by the time I got back."There you go." I handed him his sandwich and his drink.
"Thank you very much," he said, placing the drink in his cupholder and unwrapping the sandwich. "I love these smoothies, how'd you know?"
"Lucky guess?" I shrugged. "Oh, and there's your change."
He raised his eyebrows at me and gave me a look. "It's yours."
"Oh okay. Thanks." I acted surprised.
He sparked the car and we were back on the road again.⛅⛅⛅
At 8:07 we arrived in MK. The roads and rounabouts were so farmilliar to me. Liam however, for the first time, had not a clue what he was doing and seemed to be getting frustrated.
We arrived in Oakley Hill at 8:28, where my parents lived.
"Home sweet home, huh?"
"Something like that." I smiled.I ran up the steps and to the front door, then rang the doorbell.
My sister opened the door and recieved me with a hug. Then my brother ran to the door and nearly knocked me over with his. And finally, my mum and dad came to the door, more than excited to see me.
