"What do you mean it's not opening?"
"I mean, I'm trying to open the door and it won't open. What the fuck did you think?" Hayden snapped.
"Okay, okay, someone must have accidentally locked it from outside-"
"Why would they do that?"
"I don't know, this room wasn't booked, they probably thought it was still empty."
"You know what, we can either keep banging on the door, or just forget the food and sleep."
"Forget the food? Do you even understand how hungry I am-"
Hayden kicked the door.
"Hey, we've already lost £55 for no real reason, I'm not paying any extra for that door."
"No real reason? The reason is that you two idiots didn't pay attention to which fucking train we were meant to get on."

I buried my head in my hands, trying to block out everyone's shouting.

All I could hear now were muffled voices, barking angrily at one another.

I took a deep breath, stood up, and made my way to the tiny window in the room.

We were on the third floor, so there was no point trying to jump out. Even if one of us did make it, there was sure to be an injury and blood and bones splattered all over the pavement was a bit of an appetite killer.

"You know what, I don't give a shit anymore, I'm going to bed!"
"Yeah, me too."
"We can get food in the morning."
"If we can get out that is.."
"Noah?"

"Noah?"

I didn't want to talk. I didn't want to sleep. I wasn't angry or anything, but I wasn't tired anymore. I just felt like I wanted to stay by the window.

🚪🚪🚪

I woke up at around 6, sat on a chair by the window. I didn't remember sitting down. I didn't even remember falling asleep.

I looked over at the beds. Darcy, Hayden, Oliver and Chase were on one, while Liam, Riley and Blake were on another. Julia and Alex had each curled up with pillows and duvets on the floor, and Brandon had disappeared.

I pulled out my phone, walking towards the door.

It opened! Brandon must have gone to sort things out. I hadn't really taken into account what the place looked like yesterday. All I remembered was nearly tripping and stumbling through two flights of stairs, and leaning on Liam because I was so tired, but today I realised how beautiful even this scrappy little last minute joint was.

I bumped into Brandon on the stairway.
"Morning!"
"Morning, what you up to?"
"I've called the hotel we booked. They said they'd linked us up to the wrong station and we can either have a full refund or they'll hold the place for us."
"Oh, okay, so what do you want to do?"
"Well, it's you, me and Blake mainly organizing this thing so what do you want to do?"
"Well, me and my lot have to be back at uni by Wednesday-"
"Oh come on," he poked my shoulder. "Stop being so proper. What'll they do if you don't show up?" He shrugged.
"I guess... "
"Do you guys get summer off?"
"The place is still open but it's optional to go during the summer holidays."
"Brilliant! Just stay then! Let's sort all this shit out, enjoy the place, then when you get back, you can just work an extra few days in the holidays right?"
"I suppose you're right."
"I'm always right Pringle."
"I'm gonna hit you!" I chased him up the stairs.

🌅🌅🌅

1. Eat Breakfast
2. Call Mum and Dad, tell them I won't be home till Saturday
3. Get on the bus
4. Get on the train
5. Get on the ferry
6. Check in and unpack
7. Hit the beach!

Those were all the things I had to do today. Blake said we could either take a ten hour flight there (excluding the hour's journey to the airport.), or ten minutes on the bus, five hours on the train and forty five minutes on a ferry.
