♜LIAM LAWRENCE♜

I didn't know why I was doing this.
Following her.

I felt so uncomfortable seeing her sat cosily next to Brandon. Of course, it didn't help when she moved onto his lap or when she started snogging him.

She wasn't my girlfriend anymore, so why did I care?

I cared because if it weren't for my stupid mistake, she could still be mine.
If she had just gotten up one day and said she was through with me, it probably wouldn't hurt so much. But the fact that I'd caused this - it was my own fault- that was what broke my heart.

She was only doing this because she could - not because she loved him - so I wasn't at all bothered where that was concerned.

They were sat around a table with a huge cake, balloons and drinks, so I assumed it was someone's birthday, and Brandon had been given a paper crown and some glow in the dark party glasses, so I further concluded that it was his 'big day'.

I came out to have a quiet drink with my friends, but with my luck, ended up bumping into my ex girlfriend. Of all the clubs she could have gone to, all the clubs we could have gone to, we had to end up at the same one.

After sending the text, I immediately regretted it. And my friends made me regret it too.

"What the fuck Liam. She's gonna think you're stalking her you dipshit."
Chase had practically saturated his internal organs in liquor.
"How's she meant take you seriously when you're sending her soppy bullshit like that?" Riley muttered.
"Yeah, okay. I get it. I made a mistake."
"You're good at that aren't you."
"Look, we didn't come out to discuss Noah, so can you," Alex turned to me. "Stop going on about her. I'm gonna go order some more drinks."

I glanced over at Noah and her new friends.
They were playing some other drinking game. Noah seemed to be enjoying herself, and Darcy wasn't stopping her.
She'd be heavily drunk by nightfall, and I was pretty sure that wasn't going to go down well later when she got back to the hospital. I just prayed she didn't do anything stupid.
I urgently wanted her to get her head in the right place so I could talk to her, but maybe her head was in the right place.
Maybe she knew exactly what she was doing, she just still didn't want to talk to me.

Alex returned with the drinks.

I couldn't focus. I felt really nauseous and my whole body was warm.

"I'm gonna step outside for a minute."
"Okay."

I stepped out and breathed the night air. It was cold and fresh but it wasn't helping.

I sat down on the cold ground and took a long sip of my drink.

⚓NOAH OQUAYE⚓

"I'm going to the bathroom. I'll be back." I kissed Brandon again.

I was really overdoing the whole fake girlfriend thing, but the drinks made it easier.

Brandon had flirted with me all night so I decided to loosen up and play along with his games.
I managed to get Darcy alone so I could explain that we weren't really together, and she just found it funny. She said she shipped us though.

I sort of shipped us too.

I stood up to go. The toilets were right by the entrance and on my way there, I saw the idiot known to man as Liam Lawrence.
