Not In Love With Liam

41~ Three A.M

I'd sent him off with Olly and Hayden for a night out. The two were also going to a party and asked if Nigel wanted to go with them.
He agreed, after asking if Ty could come along, and the four of them went together that evening.

"Nigel, speak slower. What's going on?"
"Your little friend was out here chatting shit about you."
"Who?"
"Sam or something, I don't know. Anyway, she's just been mugged and now she's crying in my lap. What do I do?"
"San's at your party?"
"Yeah her and some others. They arrived like half an hour ago. Can't you guys come get her? She's killing our night out."
"Look Nigel, I'm not coming to get her. Why don't you just leave her with Kala and Ameera?"
"Because.."
"Because what?"
"Look, they're all drunk and crying, I think they've fallen out. This one won't stop going on about her bag that was stolen, you need to help. Please."
"Fine. But you owe me one."
"Anything. I'll tell Hayden to come around with the car right now. Where are you?"
"Don't worry. I think we're close enough." I stood up, walked to the gate that had been put up around the park and climbed it.
There, in the distance, was a busy street, packed with people holding drinks and food. I scanned the scene briefly to see the house the party was at. There were flashing lights and music coming out through the open door.

"Are you guys by any chance at number," I paused, straining to see the door number. "Fifty-three?"
"That's the one."
"Yeah, look outside."
"Is that you?" A dark figure appeared out of the crowd and waved.
"Yeah it's me."
"In PJ's?"
"Do you want me to help you or not, Nigel!?"
"Sorry, sorry." He laughed.

"Well ladies," I sighed, hopping off the fence and walking back over to the swings. "Looks like the snooze crew have found more than one way to ruin our night. San was mugged."
"Well if it ain't karma.." Darcy snickered.
A message came through to my phone.

02:04a.m. Wyd? 😏

"Bootycall from Liam?" Darcy said peering over my shoulder at my phone. "Hm." She flashed her eyebrows.

"The night is still young." Julia shrugged as we crossed the road to the house.

A mischievous smile crept onto my face. I rang Liam.

"Hey, Noah. Get my text?"
"Yeah, I did. I'm actually at a party right now and I was wondering if you could pass through?"
"Um.." he paused. "Y.. Yeah, sure. Where is it?"

"Who are you?" A guy stood at the door asked smiling as we approached the house.
Nigel and Hayden appeared in the doorway. "They're with us." Hayden put an arm around me.
"You boys are a handful, you know that?"

"We brought DRINKS!" Darcy screamed, parading with Julia down the hallway. They were both loaded, a bottle or two in each fist.

The crowd that had formed between the hallway and the kitchen began to cheer.

I shook my head.

"Yeah, so are you girls," Nigel smirked.
"How'd you find the place anyway?"
"Ah, it's alright. Big garden.." I said, leaning into the living room and peering out of the backdoor.
Nigel rolled his eyes. "I mean, how did you guys know we were here?"
"Oh well we ditched San's party to go hang out at the park -"
"You mean you got kicked out?" Hayden raised his eyebrows.
"Yeah whatever, same thing." I leant on the two boys and kicked off my slippers, before crouching down to pick them up. "And San's place is just down the street so I figured, if she made her way here that quick, it couldn't have been far, so the house must have been just around the corner, and I was right. Where is she anyway?"
"I left her with some girls by the bathroom. She was throwing up everywhere."
"Yeah, they said they'd take care of her." Hayden added.
"Do you know them?"
"No," Hayden frowned. "What does it matter?"
"Urgh," I rolled my eyes, shoving my slippers into Hayden's hands and running up the stairs. "You don't leave a drunk girl with a bunch of people she doesn't know!"
"Sorry we never read Rules in Partying." Nigel shrugged, him and Hayden following me upstairs.
