⚓NOAH OQUAYE⚓

Guess who's going to Mexico today!?

Meeeee!

I hadn't been so excited for anything since I was being discharged from hospital.

Everything that'd happened in these past few months had really changed my life. I'd met Brandon, Blake and Julia. I'd seen Hollie and her friends in Porto freaking Vecchio. I'd been on and off with Liam, been drugged by Gabe, fallen in and out of love with Hayden, fallen out with but made up with Darcy - and loved her even more now - gained a half brother (and a friend through him), been to a psyciatrist hospital, saved my parents from breaking up and still had a good £700 from those strippers I met in Croydon.

I had one final task-

Give my uncle Becka's present.

It was five in the morning. I had to be at the airport by seven and our flight left at eight.
My uncle and dad would be dropping me off.

Dad had just finished stuffing my bags into the boot and Uncle would be over in about ten minutes. Mum had already set off the water works and was begging me not to go.

Brandon, Blake and Julia, along with one other guy coming with us, were meeting me at the airport. All my friends would be there too to see me off.

"But I'm gonna miss you so much!" My mum wailed. "It's bad enough you living two hours away in London, but now Mexico?"
"Mum, I'm not moving to Mexico, I'm only visiting."
"For two weeks? Same thing! Do you even know anyone in Mexico?"
"No, but I know Blake, Brandon and Julia."
"Well I don't. Is Blake even a good driver?"
"Blake's not flying the plane, Mum."
"Oh, Noah! Why are you so stubborn?"

"I'd say determined." My dad continued, appearing in the doorway.
"I suppose she gets it from you." My mum huffed.
"She can take care of herself, can't you Niecey?" My uncle appeared in the doorway shortly after Dad.

"Sure can," I beamed at my mother innocently. "Oh and by the way, I've got something for you." I called to my uncle before jogging up the stairs and to my room to grab the box.

I returned with a silver box and a 20 inch card, within a blue and silver gift bag.
My uncle took it smiling, and opened the box.

"Calvin Klein underwear, DKNY gift card and La Vie Est Belle perfume? You shouldn't have." He smirked.
"They're for Becka, genius."
"Best niece on earth." He hugged me.
"Yeah yeah. You owe me £250."
"Done. Soon as you get home."
"I'm holding you on that one." I smiled.

"Keep it down you two, the others are still asleep."
"Who's asleep Mum?" Alex asked, helping himself to a ready piece of toast as he walked into the kitchen.
"Leanna. I hope." Mum rolled her eyes.
"Leanna snuck out like an hour ago. She's probably kissing Bruno somewhere."
"What? Who's Bruno?" Dad asked aggressively.
"Bruno Whitaker. Her boyfriend. Duh."
"Stop bullshitting-" I cut in.
"Language Noah!" My mum moaned.
"Sorry."
"So Leanna has a boyfriend and you don't?" My uncle questioned mockingly.
"I've had more boyfriends than you have hair."
"Alright, watch it miss." Dad added.
"How old are you again?" My uncle counted on his fingers. "Like.. five?"
"If it weren't for me, your girlfriend would have dumped you. What with your shitty excuse for a present."
"Language!"
"Well, what's family for?" My uncle blew me a kiss and I pretended to choke.

"A petting zoo in the middle of a Brazilian music festival wouldn't be as loud as the Oquaye household at five a.m." Leanna yawned, strolling into the kitchen tiredly to join the family fun.
