Suite three. Empty.

Everyone was out of the hotel, still out at the beach.

Noah agreed to talk to me back at the hotel.

It was about ten to four in the morning.

I popped to the bathroom to grab a towel and change my clothes.
Noah was laying on my bed, in the room Chase, Alex, Riley and I were sharing-

Looking hot as hell..

First time 'as hell' has actually made sence.

"Look, I-"
"Liam, if this conversation has anything to do with you kissing Julia, I need you to understand that you don't have to explain yourself to me." She sat up.
"Yeah but, I do. I didn't mean.. well, I did. It's just,"

She raised an eyebrow and smirked.

"I like her. But I don't love her-"
"And I'm happy for you."
"Well I'm not!"
"You're not happy for yourself?"
"Okay, that's the third time you've cut me short," I sat down beside her. "Why are you being so defensive?"
"Defensive? Me? Never!" She gasped.
"Noah.."
"Let's just say.. I know how it feels now."
"You.. you know how what feels?"
"I know how it feels to be jealous because the person you love- but shouldn't- has moved on." She leaned in so her face was right in front of mine.

This happens pretty often for people who are broken up, doesn't it?..

"You love?" I said, my eyes trained on her, an uncontrollable smile creeping onto my face.
"Yeah, but shouldn't." She smiled back.

So close.

"I'm almost offended." I dared myself to move closer to her.
"Awh," she used her finger to trace a tear on my cheek and pouted. "I'm sorry." She put her hand to my face.

Her fingers took 'steps' down to my t shirt and she tugged at my neckband.

I hated when she was like this. Acts like she's gonna do it, but she's not.

"You know, fucking in a hotel is really cliche." She sighed, hopping off the bed and into the kitchen like I knew she would.

I was driven to follow her.

"Okay, I'll give you that. But I didn't mention fucking."

I leant on the doorframe in front of her.

"Something on your mind?" I flashed my eyebrows.
"Something jumping around on yours?" She said, gesturing to my traveling eyebrows.

"Noah, I love you."
"And I guess I love you too. But-"
"But?.." I sighed, following her back to the room.
"But we can't date."
"Why not?"
"Because, Liam, I don't want a relationship right now."
"Fine.. fine, you know what? Neither do I. We don't need a relationship. You know what we need?"
"To keep away from each other?"
"No."

She put her hands over my shoulders.

"Then what?"
I sighed. "Noah, I just. I really want you back."
She looked at the floor, then back up at me.
"Look, unfortunately, I'm not gonna date you. Besides, it's always more fun to take what isn't yours."
"What?"
"Well it's not like we don't linger around each other anyway, is it? We don't have to date to be like this."
"Suppose..."
"Let's just see how shit goes, and maybe.."
"Maybe?" I smirked.
She nodded.

"You mean it?"
"Didn't think I'd be saying this without a ring on my finger, but.." she grinned. "I do."
