I was super worn out from yesterday.
We wondered round from about four till six, then spent another hour and a half on the train.
I went back to uni to collect my things, then took another train home.
Cancun was two weeks away, and so were the summer holidays.I wanted to speak to Liam about something, and give him his gift.
When he told me about his friend who'd died at the beach, he also mentioned that he hadn't been to one since.
While I'd been travelling with Brandon, we came across a beautiful beach in France, but didn't get the chance to stay. There was also an even more amazing one in Greece called Navagio, but that'd be too far and we only had the weekend off.
Despite all the shit he'd also put me through, Liam had helped me with so much this past few months and I knew Harvey was a sore subject for him.
So, I was going to try and change that.
I rang him.
**
"Hey."
"Hey, did you see the game last night?"
"Haha, yeah."
"Guess who went to the stadium."
He smiled. "You?"
"Mh-hm." I nodded.
"Had fun?"
"Yeah it was great. I also got you something, and I was wondering if you could come over."
"Awh, thanks." He smirked. "Sure, I can come over in an hour if that's okay."
"Yep. That's.. Yeah that's good. I'm at home though."
"Oakley?"
"Yeah."
"Okay cool. I might be a little late though."
"That's fine. And um... I have to speak to you about something."
"What, now? Or.."
"No when you're round."
"Sure. I'll be over later then."
"Okay. See you."**
I wasn't sure exactly how I was going to approach the subject, but I'd have to go easy with it. I didn't want him getting upset.
I was currently sat at the large glass table in the kitchen, eating breakfast alone. My mum and dad were asleep, my brother had gone to football training and my sister was in the living room.
It was Saturday morning. I'd spoken to Brandon and tried to organize a trip to Porto-Vecchio in France. He said he'd check for dates, but the easiest time to go would be Sunday.
I'd have to speak to Mrs. Mailings and ask for Monday and maybe Tuesday off. After I'd been admitted to the psychiatrist clinic, Quel, my parents, and my Head of Department, agreed that it was sensible for me to take a break from school whenever I needed to, within reason. So now, I was allowed to leave classes early, skip lessons and even days, and I was given extra time for all my projects. However I didn't take advantage of that. Art was something I loved, not something I was being forced to do. So I did attend all my classes, I still handed in my projects on time and I never left classes early.
All that only made it easier for me to ask for a couple of days off, because I'd never done it before.
My mum and dad also agreed.
I'd already spoken to Darcy, Hayden and Olly about it. They had all asked for Monday and Tuesday off too, but they had different Heads of Dept, so it was unlikely they'd be caught.
Finally was Liam. I was more than happy for him to bring his friends along too, I just needed to tell him about it now so he had enough notice.
Julia and Blake would be coming along with Brandon, which I was really glad about because I loved getting to know them, especially as we'd be going to Cancun together next week.
"Hun?" My mother's soft voice came in from the hallway.
"Yes Mum?"
"I was wondering if you could babysit the others this evening? Your father's been called to work and I'll have to attend a meeting around six."
"Oh.." Damn it "Sure Mum. No problem."
She came in and kissed my forehead. "Thank you sweetheart."
