I ran down to studio a, more curious than ever to discover what Abby had in store for me. I threw on my jazz shoes and opened the door.
There stood three people.
Abby.
Gianna.
And Franke Degano.
THE. Franke. Degano.
Franke Degano the Casting agent.
I walked in and stood there for a second, unsure what to do.
"Hi Kendall! I'm Franke Degano, a casting agent from New York." He stuck out his hand and I shook it.
I was so nervous, my hand starting shaking.
"This is the special guest Abby told you guys about. He just got here a few minutes ago and I brought him in to meet Abby." Gianna explained.
"Well, If you don't mind, it's time for me to choreograph Kendall's solo." Abby said. Franke looked disapointed as Gianna led him out of the room. Abby looked at me. "Kendall, you better be on your A game today. I'll give you a few minutes to stretch some more so you're really stretched out." Abby walked out of the room, just as Franke was appearing in the Mom's Den. The cameramen in the Mom's Den led the moms downstairs, to do who knows what. The cameras downstairs started filming me, so I went over to the bar and started stretching. I had on my lucky blue leotard, and my hair was up nice. Today couldn't get any better!
Abby came back in the room and sat down next to the stereo and the laptop. "Kendall, I want you to come watch this." I walked over to Abby and sat down on the floor. "This is your first solo I choreographed for you. Remember it?" Abby turned the laptop around to reveal a youtube video pulled up of my routine solo "Bring On The Boys". "Of course I remember it!" I giggled.
"Good." Abby replied. "Because this week, we're taking it, adding harder tricks and things, steeing up the difficulty, and that's your solo."
