I started looking around and seeing everyone's reactions. Franke cleared his throat befre he began speaking again.

"I do hope you are satisfied, and If you would like to start negotiating fees, we can begin."

My mom raised her hand.

No. I thought to myself. Don't you dare say anything about me only having one listed. it might be one but it's better than nothing.

"Yes Jill?" Franke asked.

"Why does Kendall have a little star next to her name?"

What?

I looked down at my name again.

*Kendall: Matilda,

I hadn't even noticed that.

"Well, If possible, I want to talk to you and Kendall privately. As well with Madison and Mackenzie."

I checked, and sure enough, they had stars by their names too. How strange... but exciting!

We all moved over to some foldable tables and chairs that Abby gave us to make a makeshift conference room. Moms started filling out forms, and the girls did too. We had to fill out forms to let Franke know more about us personally, not just our business resumes. I filled mine out, taking my time on my answers.
